Entries for Ch. #83 Top Picks Voting Now Visible

Hello there! When doing my final proof of links for the midway post which came out just a few minutes ago, I noticed that the Linky wasn't showing any of the entries in our Top Picks list for Challenge #83, making voting impossible. That isn't the first time this has happened this year and I'm still not sure what is causing this particular problem because the entries were all visible when I put the list together. The entries are visible once again and hopefully it will stay that way. I've edited the post to reflect that voting will be now open from today until Sunday. (Oct. 25).

If you tried to vote earlier this week and were unable to, I invite you to come back and try again. My sincere apologies for the glitch.

You can find the current Top Picks post HERE or by scrolling down two posts.

Enjoy your week and I hope you are all staying healthy out there!

Challenge #84--Opt. Twist: GIRL POWER...Midway

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #84. Before we start, I just want to say that I hope that each of you continue to stay well in your own little communities across this world.

Now it is time to continue with the reason why you are all here today. As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate, by clicking on the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #84

Optional Twist: GIRL POWER

This challenge, our optional twist is GIRL POWER. We're a powerful force out in the world that needs to be celebrated! Create a project that encourages and celebrates women's empowerment, independence, confidence and strength.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that general types of  projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Additionally, even if a project may qualify as positive, if your post promotes negativity, hatred or anything of an abhorrent nature, your project will be disqualified. Prizes this month include:
  • TWO images from All Dressed Up Stamps, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Talking of our sponsors...

Please be sure to pop over and check out the amazing images offered up by Sandy Sommerfeld, the designer behind Scribbles Designs.

To help inspire you further down the path of GIRL POWER, check out the wonderful projects my Design Team had the opportunity to create. Please welcome back Pippa who has been on a leave of absence.

Thanks again to my fabulous design team! As always, each of them have their own exceptional approaches and concepts which impress me to no end. Each of these creations has demonstrated the theme of GIRL POWER admirably and I hope we have encouraged you throughout this challenge to come up with your own piece of handiwork. Be sure to go and visit these talented ladies so you can see just how their projects tie in to the twist.

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. Females are an important and powerful group in our world, even if we are not always acknowledged as such. How do you bring to bear the concept of GIRL POWER in your own life? Do your family members acknowledge your rights and responsibilities as a member of the female gender? How do you support and celebrate the other women in your own life? If you'd like to tell us how the concept of GIRL POWER impacts your life, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! You can find our list of participants and enter our latest challenge yourself by clicking HERE and scrolling down to the bottom of the post.

GENEROUSLY SPONSORED BY…
Please show your support to our wonderful sponsors by going over and checking out their work and saying hi if you have the chance. You may also just find an image or two to add your your collection!

Along with All Dressed Up Stamps, our guest sponsor this challenge, and Scribbles Designs, one of our on-going sponsors, we also have two additional ongoing sponsors including...

Thank you so much to all these awesome companies for their
continued support of this challenge blog!

Don't Forget...

Ummm....sorry but something went wrong with the top picks this past week. When I went to check on the link to make sure it was active, I noticed that the projects had disappeared. I have no idea what happened this time but since there are no votes, I will need to extend voting. Thus, you now have until 11:59 p.m., ET, Sunday (Oct. 25), to vote on your favourite entry for Challenge #83. Voting is quick, easy and painless so I hope you will consider casting your vote if you haven't already. Winners for Challenge #83 will be posted next week if everything goes according to plan. You can find the Top Picks post HERE.

Ch. #83 Top Picks: Voting Open Oct. 12 to Oct. 19/20

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #83 POP TOP!

Hello folks!  Even though we continue to face difficult times, I hope that your Path this past week has included several positive moments along the route and that you and your families are all doing your best to stay healthy.

It is time to present the top picks from the last challenge. For the very first time this year we don't have enough entries to have a Top Seven but we did have enough people participate that we can have a Top Three. We were close but we only had 14 entries in Challenge #83 (click HERE to see the original challenge with the theme of Family Ties). Just one more entry and we would have had a top seven but that isn't the way the cards played out this past challenge. As such, it is time to get on with showcasing the three projects and/or write-ups that touched the team the most.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #83

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick in this challenge,
you are entitled to a special Challenge #83 Top Pick Badge.
Please feel free to grab a copy for your blog...

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry. Which participant most inspires you? Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made. You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic. Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails. Then, let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Linky Tools feature. Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

 Good luck everyone!

Voting open Oct. 12th
through Oct. 19th

Challenge #84--Opt. Twist: GIRL POWER...Oct. 5─Nov. 1

Hello everyone and welcome to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! We hope that you all continue to find positive moments and occasions of joy during a challenging time in our world. Who could have predicted that 2020 would be the year it has been so far! While it can be difficult to keep a rosy outlook on matters when our stress levels are high, our thoughts help to shape our world so it is imperative that we try to project a positive outlook even when it can be difficult to do so. I hope that through it all, you and your families remain healthy out there in your corner of the world.

It is the first Monday of the month, and as such, it is time for our latest challenge to begin!

Talking of our guest sponsor...

This month, we have a brand new sponsor joining us here at The Path of Positivity. We are very pleased to have All Dressed Up Stamps join us as this month's guest sponsor. It is time to learn a little bit about this awesome company!

https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/alldressedupstamps
Hi, my name’s Wendy, founder of All Dressed Up. I live in Nottingham UK with my husband and two children (my inspiration behind the characters) - in particular, my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with trends and all things digital. Day to day, I work as a textile designer working traditionally within childrenswear, fashion and interiors. Although my work is mostly digital, my work process remains hand-drawn which I hope comes across in my artwork.

All Dressed Up was created in 2013 as a place to share my digital stamps which back then was a whole new challenge for me. Since, I’ve been lucky to have discovered a whole creative community and welcomed the All Dressed Up design team who have been amazing to work with. Through our online community and Instagram, the team keep me on my toes to keep on drawing, creating and inspiring. My favourite thing is seeing how my characters are continually given brand new personalities!

On our Facebook and Instagram page we host regular tutorials, challenges (and freebies!) and is the real heart of our community. The stamps are available from the All Dressed Up Etsy shop which is continually updated on a monthly basis with lots of limited edition and seasonal stamps available in particular.

The All Dressed Up community is a friendly bunch (if I do say so myself!) and we would love for you to get involved, see your work and for you to share your stamping tips too! Do get in contact and be sure to visit our Facebook and Instagram pages to see what we’re creating at the moment.

My wonderful design team continues to outdo themselves time and time again! They each have their own style and clever interpretation of the twist. Even after all this time, I continue to be astounded by the scope of greatness in their work! Each of these artful conceptions has showcased the notion of GIRL POWER exceptionally and I hope we have inspired you. Be sure to go and visit each team member so you can see how her project further connects to the twist.

So what are you waiting for? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life.
