Design Team Delights for Challenge #36--BEAUTY

Hello there!  It is time to share our favourite entries for Challenge #36.  As always, in each challenge you, the readers, get to voice your opinion by voting for your favourite and so it is only fitting that my Design Team get to do so as well.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to join along our Path during the month of March for Challenge #36Check out the entries that really caught our attention...

Heather--chosen by Pat...

This is what Pat had to say:
"My DT Delight is Heather.  I love mixed media projects, and hers is positive, useful and colorful!"

To see the details of Heather's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Teresa--chosen by Katrina & Julie...

Katrina said this:
"My DT Delight
Teresa (#2--Tickell Expressions).  I am so amazed with this beautiful tiger.  There's something about her with her zen-doodling....I'm not sure what it is, I just love it!  This cat is a beauty!"

Julie had this to say:
"My DT Delight is
Teresa as well.  I like her Zendoodles and the watercolor pencil background.  This piece is so creative!"

To see the details of Teresa's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Gloria--chosen by Pippa...

Here is what Pippa had to say:
"My DT Delight is Gloria's second entry.  I Love the whole layout, the colours, the flowers and the sentiment."

To see the details of Gloria's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE
 Vickie--chosen by Lisa (that's me)...

My DT Delight this time around is Vickie.  Her card is simply beautiful and her reflection touches on the true beauty of Easter:
"The real beauty of Easter is knowing that you are loved so much by someone else that He would volunteer to take your punishment for all the wrongs you'd ever done in life by giving up His own life, dying in your place."  His death was cruel, traumatic, and ugly, but His love for doing it is beautiful, so we tend to make our Easter cards beautiful. This card is made in gratitude of Christ's beautiful love for me, for you, and for the world (Path of Positivity Challenge - Beauty)."
I just love the poignancy of how beauty can come out of something so tragic.  We always need to truly reflect on the events in our own lives in order to find the positive that exists even when we are dealing with something difficult or tragic.  It may be small but it can always be found.

To see the details of Vickie's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.

Creative Congratulations to all of you!

Thank you to everyone who played on our Pathway during the month of March.  As always we greatly appreciate you sharing your incredible talents with us.

Challenge #36 Top Picks: Voting Open April 18th to 24, 2016

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #36 POP TOP!

Thank you so much to Pat for getting this post ready!  Pat is a true blessing in my life and I don't know what I would do without her!  Thanks to her efficiency, we can get this post out much quicker than I anticipated.  And on that note, it is time to get on with showcasing the top picks for Challenge #36.  This month we had 10 entries!  Thus, we will be opening things up so that those 10 entrants have the opportunity to be chosen as the Voter's Choice.   We do this any time we have less than 14 participants.  And, while we may not have enough participants to have a top seven, we certainly have enough to have a top three.  Therefore, it is time to get on with showcasing the three projects that the team feels were the best of the bunch.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #36 (in no particular order)...

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick, you are entitled to a special Top Pick badge.  Since I can never seem to get over into my email account for PoP these days, I'm going to add the badges here for download.

Asha, Gloria &Deb
Please feel free to grab a copy of the following Challenge #36 Top Pick Badge

Deb
Gloria Shirr #2
Vickie O'Dell
Teresa

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry.  Which participant most inspires you?  Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made.  You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic and in line with the concept of BEAUTY.  Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails.  Once you have checked all the entries out,  let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Inlinkz feature.

Voting open for 6 days:
 April 18th to
April 24th

Come have your say in determining the Voter's Choice for Challenge #36!  Don't forget to leave a comment after you have voted.  There will be a prize for one lucky person who leaves a comment on one of this month's posts (chosen randomly from a selection of posts related to Challenge #36).  If you haven't had the opportunity to visit each of the entries already, please go and check them out a little more closely before placing your vote.  Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

Good luck everyone!

Important Note:
Please note that in order for this to work, I must add all the entries but I can only do this AFTER I have published this post. So there will be some overlap time between when this post is published and when you will be able to vote. Once I have uploaded the entries there will be a total of 10 images below on which to vote. As soon as they are all are uploaded, I'll enable voting to begin. If there are less than 10, it means that I am still in the process of adding the images and you should come back in a little while to make your vote. Thank you for your patience!

Challenge #36--BEAUTY: Midway & Voting Reminder

Hello everyone! We have reached the midway point of Challenge #36. The theme for this challenge is BEAUTY.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and almost anything can qualify as beautiful so I am really surprised that we only have five creations linked up so far this month.  Hopefully more people will get the chance to show us their interpretation over the next two weeks.  Need some motivation?  Be sure to check out Pat's Pondering this month (which you can find HERE) for some words of inspiration on the subject.

Anyway, now it is time to get on with our midway!
Here are the watermarks and links for the wonderful images that the team worked with for the midway.

To help inspire you down the path of BEAUTY, check out the wonderful projects most of my Design Team had the opportunity to create.  I will be adding one very shortly myself.  Sadly I just didn't have the time or energy to get it done in time for today's post.  Clicking on the team members' name will take you to their blog where you can check out the details for their inspirational creations...

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for?  Create a project and/or post that is positive AND relates to the idea of beauty, provide an explanation of how your project and/or post relates to the theme somewhere in your post or come over and leave a comment with the explanation.  Easy, peasy!  You can enter our latest challenge by clicking HERE.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit.  Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog).

Don't Forget...

You still have until 11:55 p.m. tonight, to vote on your favourite entry for Challenge #35.  Voting is quick, easy and painless so I hope you will consider casting your vote if you haven't already.  Don't forget, if you leave a comment on a selection of the active posts from this month, you have the opportunity to walk away with a small selection of digital papers. To check out all those eligible and cast your vote, click HERE.  Winners for challenge #35 will be posted next Monday.

Ponderings Along the Pathway...BEAUTY

Welcome to this month's edition of Ponderings Along the Pathway, an exclusive feature over here on the Path of Positivity.  The purpose of this column is to continue with the goal of this blog which is to create a space "designed to inspire, nurture and provide support for the soul by creating a positive path to follow, one project or post at a time".  Providing some motivational introspection on the themes we cover each challenge period, is one way of achieving this goal.

This month it is all about BEAUTY and PAT is here to share her thoughts on the subject...
Beauty comes from an inner peace in doing what you love, in sharing with others, and in loving and being loved. Have you ever noticed how beautiful a person is when they're happy? Their faces light up and their eyes sparkle. When they smile, it beckons you to smile with them. Share a smile with a stranger, and two things could happen. You could make their day a bit happier, a bit more beautiful, or you could startle them into wondering what you're up to!

Loving what you do brings its own energy into any situation. Whether you cook, do someone's taxes or drive people to where they want to go, your path in life is made easier by the beauty of your choices.

Sharing the bounty with others can create beauty in others. Nothing is as beautiful as two sisters sharing fashion advice before a big date, friends laughing over great memories or parents teaching their children how to ride a bike. The love they feel for each other makes them shine, and that makes them beautiful.

Anyone can be beautiful. Everyone can be beautiful. YOU are beautiful.

I completely agree with Pat.  When one is beautiful on the inside, it is only natural that it radiates outward for all the world to see.  It is time for YOU to light up the world with your own unique beauty.  Please be sure to pop over to Pat's personal blog, Patacake Pages, for more inspiration.

Well folks, that is it for today but please be sure to join us on Monday for the midway.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!
