Design Team Delights for Challenge #42--Friendship

Hello to you all on this rather dark Sunday evening! As I start to type this post it is 5:22 p.m. and it is already pitch black out there. But enough about that, it is time to share our favourite entries for Challenge #42. As always, in each challenge you, the readers, get to voice your opinion by voting for your favourite and so it is only fitting that my Design Team get to do so as well.

Donna--chosen by Lisa (that's me)...

My DT Delight this time around is Donna. This woman has the particular talent of turning 'boo boos' into absolutely gorgeous works of art and this particular card is no exception. It is coloured beautifully and the layout which apparently turned out to be an accident, is simply wonderful. All that sparkle and the addition of the feather adds the perfect touch.

However, it isn't only Donna's card that drives me to choose her as my choice, it is also what she has to say on the theme of friendship that moves me.  Donna talks about what friendship means to her--how it is important to love and care for oneself before befriending another. She also talks about how friendship is a selfless act, freely given without any thought of reciprocation. She then goes on to expound further, defining her friendship with nature and Creation. Challenge #42--FRIENDSHIP...Midway

Hello everyone!  It is time to get on with the midway for Challenge #42. The theme for this challenge is FRIENDSHIP. Need some additional motivation to get you started? Be sure to check out Pat's Pondering this month (which you can find HERE) for some words of inspiration on the subject. Pat reminds us that friendship isn't only about our two legged companions but also about our furry, feathery and scaly ones as well! It is this take on friendship that inspired the idea behind today's free sentiment as well.

The word 'furever' was paper pieced with a fur texture from My Free Textures. This texture may be used for commercial purposes.

The first font was purchased with an extended commercial use licence. The second font was free and listed for commercial use at the time of this creation.
