Challenge #81--Opt. Twist: SUCCESS...Midway

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #81. Before we start, I just want to say that I hope that each of you continue to stay well in your own little communities across this world.

Now it is time to continue with the reason why you are all here today. As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate, by clicking on the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #81

Optional Twist: SUCCESS

If you decide to follow the optional twist for this challenge, we want to see a project with a focus on SUCCESS. Whether you are congratulating someone on an achievement in their life or praising a person for their triumph, success is the name of the game for this challenge.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that general types of  projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Prizes this month include:
  • A $10 gift certificate from Ike's Art, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Talking of our sponsors...

To learn more about Ike's Art, this month's guest sponsor, be sure to check out the START post; and of course, also pay this generous company a visit.

http://buyscribblesdesigns.blogspot.ca/

During the midway, you will also be seeing projects from half of the team using images from Scribbles Designs, one of our on-going sponsors. Scribbles Designs will be providing the prize for the Most Inspirational choice during each challenge in 2020. Please be sure to pop over and check out the amazing images offered up by Sandy Sommerfeld, the designer behind Scribbles Designs.

To help inspire you further down the path of SUCCESS, check out the wonderful projects my Design Team had the opportunity to create. Pat who is currently on leave, had some time to get creative this month so she is joining us for the midway.

Clicking on each team member's name will take you to their blog where you can check out the details for their inspirational creations. If you are interested in purchasing the image featured in a particular creation, you can click on the link indicated below the project…

Thanks again to my fabulous design team! As always, each of them have their own exceptional approaches and concepts which impress me to no end. Each of these creations has demonstrated the theme of SUCCESS admirably and I hope we have encouraged you throughout this challenge to come up with your own piece of handiwork. Be sure to go and visit these talented ladies so you can see just how their projects tie in to the twist.

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. Do you have any SUCCESSES of your own to share? Is there someone in your life that could do with a little praise over a recent achievement? Anyone you would like to congratulate for a unique triumph? Many students graduate around this time of year so a graduation card would be a great choice. Heck, even getting through a two month lockdown with one's sanity in tact is a success all in itself and deserves some cheer! If you'd like to tell us about a success of your own or of someone you know, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! You can find our list of participants and enter our latest challenge yourself by clicking HERE and scrolling down to the bottom of the post.

GENEROUSLY SPONSORED BY…

Please show your support to our wonderful sponsors by going over and checking out their work and saying hi if you have the chance. You may also just find an image or two to add your your collection!

Challenge #81--Opt. Twist: SUCCESS...June 1─July 5

Hello everyone and welcome to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! I hope that you all are doing okay in your various locations around the world as communities take a step to start or progress with opening up as our world deals with the continued effects of the pandemic.

If there wasn't enough to deal with, my heart goes out to those of our readers, followers and friends who are currently caught up in the violence sweeping across the USA. While the horrific and senseless loss of life of an American man demands change and justice, I hope that a more peaceful approach can be found to deal with the situation. The anger and frustration playing out in the streets is certainly justified but violence is not the answer and will just end up hurting more innocent people. Hopefully those involved will find a way to take their frustration and anger and steer it away from violence, somehow channelling it into effective, peaceful action. Now, more than ever, we need positivity to lift us up.

Before I continue with today's post, I wanted to let you all know that Pippa is taking a personal leave of absence to deal with some family issues. I hope that you will join us in wishing her the absolute best, sending her prayers and positive thoughts. Hopefully, she will be able to return to us soon!

One last thing! Please note that this will be the final challenge before we take our summer break. I'll keep reminding you throughout the month and will also post a reminder at the start of July. The Top Picks and Winners for this challenge, #81, will be posted when we resume in August.

Finally, it is time to continue with the reason why you are all here today. It is the first Monday of the month, it is time for our latest challenge to begin!

Since we are not your typical challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and you can find out all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can also be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Talking of our guest sponsor...

We are very pleased to have Ike's Art back as this month's guest sponsor. Here is a refresher of what this company is all about...

Hi there – I am Ike……a nickname that I got hooked with many years ago due to my surname, and in my profession at that time, …… they just loved to give nicknames ☺.

I live in Greece and have a passion for kitties ☺

I am a complete nutter or should I say I’m ‘zany’ hahaha. I have a very strange/sick sense of humour and I must admit I spend a lot of time talking to myself. !! Well, I get more sense out of me.! I reckon in a few years I shall be known as the “crazy cat lady” ☺

I am an artist and have a strange mind when it comes to creating my art. I either go completely true to life… right down to the last hair… or I go totally surreal. I have a passion for all things horror/Gothic etc. I’ve always loved horror films and books and I guess that’s why it creeps into my stuff ! Had I been a bit younger I swear I would have been a Goth……luuuuuv it.  Next time around I am gonna be a witch or a cat ☺

I started my Blog several years ago and although I love crafting, my real passion is drawing, and now I just love making digital images.

Challenge #80--Opt. Twist: FURRY OR FEATHERY FRIENDS...May 4─May 31

Hello everyone and welcome to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! While our world continues to stay in a state of flux, there are signs that the curve is flattening in many areas. With a little more patience I believe that very SLOWLY, we will start to see things returning to some semblance of normal. Even though things are starting in the right direction we need to be cautious that we don't go too fast or we'll just end up back where we were a month ago. The struggles of so many people are very real but hopefully even small changes and improvements will help to shine a little sunshine back into our lives.

This brings me to an inspirational quote that I want to share this month:

Above the clouds,
The SUN is shining,
NO MATTER WHAT!

We just have to do our best to stay positive during this difficult time as it will help to keep our stress levels lower. Something we really need to keep in check right now. Once again, I send love and prayers to you and yours and hope that you and your families continue to stay safe and healthy.

Now it is time to continue with the reason why you are all here today. It is the first Monday of the month, it is time for our latest challenge to begin!
