Design Team Delights for Challenge #32--GRATEFULNESS

It is time to share our favourite entries for Challenge #32.  As always, in each challenge you, the readers, get to voice your opinion by voting for your favourite and so it is only fitting that my Design Team get to do so as well.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to join along our Path during the month of November for Challenge #32Check out the entries that really caught our attention...
Chriss--chosen by Monica (this is Monica's official last duty with the team)...

Here is what Monica had to say:
"My DT Delight is Chriss. It was a reminder of the sacrifices not only our military make for us, but their families as well. Such a beautiful endearing card."

To see the details of Chriss' creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Diane--chosen by Katrina and Pat...

Katrina said this:
"My DT Delight is Diane.  Everything about this card is beautiful from the grateful sentiment to the lovely textures! I want to "case" this card! ;)"

This is what Pat had to say:
"My DT Delight is
also Diane H's card. Her use of die-cutting the burlap candles and then using a Snow Pen to create a covering of glistening snow is awesome!"

Jo Ann--chosen by Desíre...

Here is what Desíre had to say:
"My DT Delight is Jo Ann.  I Just adore the vibrant colours and endearing couple on her card."

Donna E.--chosen by Suze and Julie...

Here is what Suze had to say:
"My DT Delight is Donna Ellis. I love how the scallop shapes continue throughout the card in the dies, lace, etc. The image is also beautifully coloured."

Julie had this to say:
"My DT Delight is also Donna Ellis. I love the rich, Autumn colors of her card, her detailed and easy to follow tutorial, and her attitude about gratefulness."

To see the details of Donna's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Vickie O.--chosen by Lisa (that's me)...

My DT Delight this time around is Vickie O.  The sentiment on the front of her richly coloured and beautifully designed card states, "A Season to be Thankful".  A seaon to be thankful for indeed!  While Thanksgiving and Christmas are both good times to reflect back and be thankful, it is also important to remember that we need to show our gratitude for the wonderful gifts in our life, throughout all seasons.  We also need to remember to be thankful for the many things that we often don't think about or simply take for granted.  Vickie says it succinctly,
"After going through any type of hardship, we may feel blessed when the difficulty is over, or even just better.  But what if there are no obvious hardships?  I see what is happening around the world and feel gratitude for things like safety, freedom, and living in a land of plenty.  I see someone with a terrible illness and my own ailments seem insignificant. Yet, I'm constantly aware of the fact that there is so much more for which I should be thankful than what I actually verbalize to others and to God."
As a new year unfolds, don't forget to continuously verbalize your gratitude for ALL the gifts you have been given.

To see the details of Vickie's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.

Creative Congratulations to all of you!

Thank you to everyone who played on our Pathway during the month of November.  As always we greatly appreciate you sharing your incredible talents with us.

For our DT Delights chosen for this challenge...

Chriss, Diane, Jo Ann, Donna and Vickie

You are all entitled to one image of your choice from our on-going sponsor...

If you are familiar with the Creative Bug Digital SnapShots store, PLEASE NOTE THAT THINGS HAVE CHANGED.   Unfortunately, the website is no longer available.  As such I created a page on the originating blog that lists all of the images available.  Please click HERE to check out the image previews.  I have tried to arrange them into general categories.  Due to the nature of some of these images, they have been repeated in certain applicable categories.  Be sure to click on the watermarks to bring them up into the lightbox for better viewing.  Once you've made your decision, please send me the name of the one image you want and let me know which section it came from.

Additionally, you are entitled to the special Challenge #32 DT Delight Badge. To claim both your digi and the badge (or just one or the other), send your requests to popwinners {at} gmail {dot} com (be sure to replace at and dot with the appropriate symbols) or by clicking HERE to bring the address up in your email program, with the subject, "PoP#32--DT Delight Badge and/or Digi Request".   I'm always running rather behind these days, so your patience is appreciated.

Our special yearly prize package will also still be taking place.  Remember, if you are chosen as a DT Delight during any of our challenges, your name will be entered into a draw for some digital goodies.  You get one entry per choice; so, if two members picked your card, you will earn 2 entries, three members 3 entries, etc.  The winner at the time will be notified by email.   The next draw will occur sometime in the summer of 2016.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope to see you all tomorrow on January 4th, when we will be back with the start of Challenge #34.  We hope that you will join us then to learn what the newest theme will be.

See you again soon!

Challenge #32 Top Picks: Voting Open December 14th to 21st, 2015

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #32 POP TOP!

It is time to get on with showcasing the top picks for Challenge #32.    Apologies that I am running a wee bit later than usual in the day.  The closer we get to Christmas, the crazier it gets.

This time around we had 18 entries.    While it was wonderful to see so many people showing the concept of GRATEFULNESS, I was saddened that there weren't more participants.  It was Thanksgiving in the States after all and not a big stretch of the imagination to come up with a project that fit the theme.  Oh well, at least we had all of you with us and that is what counts!

Well, it is time to get on with showcasing the seven projects that the team feels were the best of the bunch.  Any time we have over 14 entries we choose a Top 7.  In case you are new and wondering why seven and not the typical three, four or even five?  Well, we strive to be different over here on the Path of Positivity.  Additionally, seven is a spiritual number and thus right in the wheelhouse of the vibe we are looking to project; so, seven it is.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #32 (in no particular order)...

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick, each of you is entitled to a special Top Pick badge.  Please send an email to popwinners {at} gmail {dot} com, or by clicking HERE to bring up the address in your email program, with the subject "Challenge #32 Top Pick" and I'll email your badge to you.  Please note that it may take me a while to get back to you, especially as we get closer to the holidays, so I really appreciate your patience.

Have Your Say!

Now the really hard work starts.  It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry.  Which participant most inspires you?  Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made.  You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic and in line with the concept of gratefulness.  If you love to be inspired, please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails.  Once you have checked all the entries out,  let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Inlinkz feature.

Voting open for 7 days:
December 14th to
December 21st

Come have your say in determining the Voter's Choice for Challenge #32!  Don't forget to leave a comment after you have voted.  There will be a prize for one lucky voter who leaves a comment on one of this month's posts (chosen randomly).  If you haven't had the opportunity to visit each of the top seven choices already, please go and check them out a little more closely before placing your vote.  Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

Good luck everyone!

Important Note:

Please note that in order for this to work, I must add all the entries but I can only do this AFTER I have published this post.  So there will be some overlap time between when this post is published and when you will be able to vote.  Once I have uploaded the entries there will be a total of seven images below on which to vote.  As soon as all seven are uploaded, I'll enable voting to begin. If there are less than seven, it means that I am still in the process of adding the images and you should come back in a little while to make your vote.  Thank you for your patience!

Challenge #32--GRATEFULNESS: Midway & Voting Reminder

Hello everyone! We have reached the midway point of Challenge #32. The theme for this challenge is all about GRATEFULNESS.  If you are looking for some introspection on the topic of gratitude, be sure to check out Pat's Pondering which was posted on Friday (click HERE to find it).  And of course, you'll also find some interesting thoughts on gratefulness over on my Design Team's posts as well.

Just before we continue, I wanted to let you all know that Monica has decided to leave the team.  This will be the last creation from her; although we will still get to see her DT Delight Choice for this challenge when it comes out next month.  Monica has been a true blessing to have on our team and will be sadly missed.  We wish her only the best as she goes forward in her life.  Please be sure to visit her this week and let her know how much she has inspired you over the course of her time with us--just a little over a year and a half!

Anyway, it is time to get on with our midway!
Here are the watermarks and links for the wonderful images that the team worked with for the midway.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for?  Create a project and/or post that is positive AND relates to gratefulness, provide an explanation of how your project and/or post relates to the theme somewhere in your post or come over and leave a comment with the explanation.  Easy, peasy!  You can enter our latest challenge by clicking HERE.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit.  Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog).

Don't Forget...

You still have until 11:55 p.m. tonight, to vote on your favourite entry for Challenge #31.  Voting is quick, easy and painless so I hope you will consider casting your vote if you haven't already.  Don't forget, if you leave a comment on a selection of the active posts from this month, you have the opportunity to walk away with a selection of digital papers. To check out all those eligible and cast your vote, click HERE.  Winners for challenge #31 will be posted next Monday.
