It is the first Monday in February and that means it is time for the next challenge to start. This time around, for Challenge #11 the theme is "LOVE". Show us your interpretation of what love means to you. You can make any sort of project and/or post as long as it is positive in nature and relates to the theme. We can't survive without love so make sure that the people in your life know just how special they are to you.
Don't forget when you link up your project and/or post, to please leave a comment letting us know how your creation relates to the concept of love if it isn't readily clear within the design itself or clearly written somewhere else in your post. Remember, the creation must be positive/inspirational/motivational AND adhere to the theme of love in order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes. While you may easily see how love relates to your creation, it may not be as apparent to me or the DT members. That is why we ask that you clarify it somewhere, whether here or in your blogpost. This way it clears up any ambiguity that may exist.
Now it is time to meet our guest sponsor for this month. Once again I am pleased to have with us...
The design team got the opportunity to work with one of the following three images this month.
First up we have my second favourite frog (my first is my husband) sharing his love with us, Carl I Heart You...
Show someone you care by sharing your heart with them. A great way to do so would be to create a card with a bunch of hearts. The more hearts the merrier and this image is certainly full of them!
One of the DT worked with this sweetie pie, another beloved Scribbles Designs character, Brrr. The name of this image is called Brrr My Valentine...
We are very pleased to have Helene a.k.a. Nick, from Nick's Scrap Shack, as our guest designer this month...
Here is the sweet card she came up with...
I can always count on my design team and our guest to create wonderful creations. Can't you just feel all the LOVE emanating from within them?!
So what are you waiting for? Create a project and/or post that is positive AND relates to love, provide an explanation of how your project and/or post relates to the theme somewhere in your post or come over and leave a comment with the explanation. Easy, peasy!
If you have some time, please visit other people participating throughout the month. I've included the summary of the challenge details below. If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog).
I hope to see you back on Monday, February 10th when voting will start on the Top Seven for Challenge #10.
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE ON LOVE
If you need some motivation to get you started, I've provided a quote for you, which you can find below.
Looking for a unique image or sentiment? Well then! Head on over to Scribbles Designs and check out Sandy's world of her funky imagination and quirky characters. Sandy has loved art, drawing, water coloring and doodling for many years... and with the digital image world she can now share it with all of you. Brrr (Penguin) was her first main character and her other quirky images followed not long after. We hope you enjoy the endearing images available in the store and add Sandy's images to your digital stamp collections.
The design team got the opportunity to work with one of the following three images this month.
First up we have my second favourite frog (my first is my husband) sharing his love with us, Carl I Heart You...
If an amphibian can win your heart, then this one certainly will. Carl is quite a suave frog and has his eyes on the ladies. My heart certainly leaps for him. Does yours?
Some of the DT also got to work with this pretty image called Heart Doodle 2...
One of the DT worked with this sweetie pie, another beloved Scribbles Designs character, Brrr. The name of this image is called Brrr My Valentine...
Brrr has such a big heart and he'd love to share it with you too. Wouldn't Brrr My Valentine be perfect on a Valentine's Day card? V Day will be here before you know it and each of the above images would be perfect for a card you need to create to let someone close to you, know how much they mean to you.
Now as it turns out, one of the DT, Suze, also happened to use one of the Scribbles Designs images that she has in her own personal collection. The extra image she used is called, Sweethearts...
While Suze used the coloured version of the image, it is also available in black and white line art for you to colour in yourself.

We are very pleased to have Helene a.k.a. Nick, from Nick's Scrap Shack, as our guest designer this month...
Hi! My name is Helene Siermans. I am 36 years old, soon 37. I live in a little village called Askeby in Sweden with my very supportive husband, and my two children. They are the main reason I scrap. I love to scrap the fun and everyday moments as my children grow and change. I also love to scrap about travel, nature, animals and everyday things (like dishwashers, yes they are the best!). I do a lot of different types of paper crafting such as cards, mini albums and altered items. I've got a really bad paper fetish and can´t help to buy some as soon as I see something that I like. I've also got a pretty bad coffee addiction, lol. Love to sit by the computer looking through my blog list with a coffee beside me… At the moment I teach year 2 in the Swedish Primary school. I love it! Children give you so much back. I also like to be outside in my garden and read books. I´m so happy to be a Guest Designer for the Path of Positivity this month. Thanks for having me!
I can always count on my design team and our guest to create wonderful creations. Can't you just feel all the LOVE emanating from within them?!

Thanks so much for the fabulous creations by the DT and for your awesome challenges. I love your blog and all the positive messages you bring to us through this wonderful website. My card is No. 10 and I think Love is very obvious with these two love birds. I created this for my daughter and her husband's anniversary; which is in November. They have 4 children, best friends, have great love for each other and their family. They work very hard to do what's best for the entire family; not just for one person. I feel that is what love is all about; giving and sharing with others. Have a terrific week! Hugs, Gloria

Your site a has been on my radar for a while now and I finally have "all my ducks in a row" and have entered this month's Challenge! (so EXCITED!) The Layout I created is about how we often do not scrapbook photos of ourselves because we HATE the way we look and so end up in very few of those family albums. But how our family see us through very different eyes and they LOVE the way we look, because they see the real US! I hope you enjoy it and THANK YOU for this AWESOME site!
ReplyDeleteThank you again for choosing my card as one of the top 7. I love your quotation Lisa and the awesome DT creations..xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fabulous inspiration by the DT and for your wonderful challenges Lisa. Love this positive upbeat blog. No. 23 - It is a birthday card; but I am sending my granddaughter a lot of love with this birthday card. See the hearts and the verse inside. She is very special to me. Thanks. Gloria

Card 39. Love is about giving and receiving. I love this image and created this card for my youngest granddaughter's birthday. I know she will love it. Inside: I let her know that her laughter makes my heart smile. This is love! I feel very blessed to have 8 beautiful, sweet, wonderful, incredible grandchildren and three fabulous kids who are part of each of them. Thanks for the inspiration by the DT and for giving us such fabulous positive challenges. Have a wonderful week! Hugs, Gloria

Card 44. I feel that Angels are all about love. I am again sending love by creating a birthday card for a loved one. Butterflies are one of my favorite things; so I love adding them to my cards. I feel love when I see them.; which I hope comes through to the person receiving the card. Thanks again for the fabulous challenges. I couldn't find the limit for entries; if you have one. I have searched several times. Have a terrific week. Hugs, Gloria

No. 45. I sure hope there isn't a limit. If so, I apologize because I couldn't find it. I have gotten a lot of cards created recently. I created this one for a friend; as you can see the sentiment inside. I think it portrays love with the lady giving or receiving the flowers and the gorgeous butterflies. Thanks again for your challenges and for the fabulous creations by the DT. Hugs, Gloria

No. 47 - I am back again. Please let me know if there is a limit. I created my Mother a card to share my love for her and the importance of her in my life. She is 80 yrs old. She normally fly's to CA and spends a couple months with us in the Spring; but she wasn't able to fly this year due to her health. I wanted to create her a card with butterflies and I chose this image with sentiment because it is how I feel about her. Thanks for giving us this opportunity to share our creations with everyone. Hugs, Gloria

I feel like I am the only one commenting. LOL! #49 is A Christmas card; but what better time to show love than at Christmas. See sentiment about love as well. #50 is obviously about Love. LOL! Thanks again Lisa and the DT. I love all your inspiration and your wonderful comments on my blog. Have a fabulous week! Hugs, Gloria

Me again! Lisa said currently no limit; so I'm back. LOL! I created this card for my sister Alice and her husband. I purchased the Digi specifically (Lacy Sunshine Eleanor - Alice) to create them a card; to let them know how much I love them. I spent a lot of time and love creating the perfect card for them. Have a fabulous day. Thanks again for the wonderful challenges and great creations by the DT. They inspire me! Hugs, Gloria
