Hello! My name is Suze and I live in New Zealand.

I have been card-making off and on for a number of years since a friend introduced me to rubber stamps although I now work mostly with digi stamps. My style is mainly CAS but I'm trying to learn new techniques. I first started blogging my cards in February 2012 so that I could enter some challenges. I initially started with mainly Christmas challenges to take the pressure off at the end of the year but have since found several others that have appealed to me. Since I live on the other side of the world, so many of the challenges are the opposite season to ours which certainly makes things interesting!

Hi, my name is Pat and I live on the outskirts of Chicago.  While I am a card maker at heart, I have fallen in love with mixed media art, and I support this habit by working as a secretary (and substitute teacher) at a private school.  There are five generations of crafters in my family, from my 6 year old granddaughter to my 103 year old gram, although she can’t see well enough to craft any more.  I told Lisa that if I hadn’t found her Path of Positivity Blog, I would have started one myself.  My attitude toward life mirrors her mission to offer inspiration and support for the soul one project or post at a time!

I am so excited to be a designer here at Path of Positivity ! I only recently happened upon this site, but I have truly enjoyed the posts and the creativity here. I love the idea of posting projects following such uplifting themes and it gives me an opportunity to share some stories and stretch my writing skills! In my spare time, I enjoy watching crafting videos and making scrapbooking layouts, cards, mixed medium projects, sewing, home decor, etc. My scrapping photos come from my “real life” as a mother of two grown children, therapeutic horsemanship instructor of several beautiful kids, and a nana of a lovely little girl named Lucy! I am blessed with a supportive husband of almost 30 years. I work as a freelance oboist and private instructor as well as in the therapeutic horsemanship field. I adore my family, friends, photography, horses, music, and paper! When I can combine two or more from that list, I’m ecstatic! My favs: periwinkle, bread, ice cream, coffee, flip flops, jeans, Brahms, Donny Osmond, and a day without a clock———you can fill in the categories!

Thanks again for this wonderful opportunity!

Hello! I'm Carole and I’m from the North West of England where it’s often cloudy and mostly raining! I live with my lovely hubby and our kitty, Casey.

I have been creating for as long as I can remember. I love all types of arts and crafts and will happily have a go at any. In the past, besides getting inky, painty, sticky and glittery with paper crafts, I have knitted, sewed, quilted, embroidered, cross stitched, made batik, made and swapped Pocket Letters and scrapbooked. I am enjoying mosaic workshops at the moment and hope to attend a glass fusing course this year. At the moment I am working on improving my art journal skills. I’m lucky to have a room at home where I can create. I spend hours in there, getting lost in the creative process and losing all track of time. At the moment I’m enjoying making cards, ATCs and recycling/altering boxes, tins and such like. I design for a few companies and would describe my style as eclectic, loving everything from cute and whimsical to shabby chic and vintage. I enjoy working with digital images and pretty design papers, but I also like to incorporate stamping and mixed media techniques and enjoy getting my fingers inky. When I’m not buried in my craft room, I enjoy reading, gardening, yoga, pilates and travelling.

I am so excited to have been invited to join the Path of Positivity Design Team.

Leave of Absence...

Please note that Pat is currently on a leave of absence to deal with issues in her personal life. Hopefully, she will return as soon as she is able to.

Honourary Members...

The following individuals were all advisors who helped guide me when I was putting the ideas together to launch this challenge blog as well as original members of this team.  As such, each of these wonderful ladies will always be part of the Path of Positivity family. Unfortunately, each of them has had to leave their full time DT position over here.  However, they will always be welcomed to participate in any challenge they have time for or come back if they would like and this is the reason they will continue to be designated as an 'honourary member'.

I am very honoured to have this special group of women along side me, or in the case of the honourary members, with me in spirit, as we journey down The Path of Positivity.  Please support my DT by visiting their blogs (clicking on the badges will take you there, or in the case of the honourary DT, clicking on their names will take you there) and letting them know how much you appreciate their inspiration each month.  I know they'd be happy to have you drop by!

  1. That is so cool that you live so far away from each other - almost every continent - but together you've created such an inspiring project. Love it!

Thank you so much for coming by. I hope that you leave with your spirits just a little bit more lifted than when you arrived. Your comments always make my day. ☺Lisa
