Introduction

In this day and age, we are continually bombarded with images that leave us empty: murder, war, terrorism, natural disaster, intolerance, hatred... the list could go on and on. Our world is a place of ever increasing negativity it seems. It doesn't matter whether we turn on the television, listen to the news, read the paper or just chat with friends. Odds are we will end up walking away feeling a sense of despair. Many of us ask where the good has gone when we take in all the horrors that surround us. Some days the bad just seems to outweigh the good we see in this world. However, we don't have to go very far to see the miracles of daily life that abound.

From the way the sun warms our face on a cold day, to the embrace of a loved one; from the way a butterfly brushes our cheek during a summer walk, to the sounds of the birds chirping in the trees--we are surrounded with beauty, majesty and love. The problem, I believe, is that we have just become too jaded from all the negativity in the world, our community, sometimes even our own backyard, to see the good, that in spite of everything, subsists.

Morality and justice continue to exist. We just need to look a little harder to see it. We need to rub the disillusion from our eyes that has clouded our vision in order to see the joy this world even now has to offer.

To that end, I have been inspired to create a place where I can come to see projects or posts that provide help, hope, courage, love, forgiveness, peace, motivation, encouragement, etc. A place to come especially on those days when the woes of the world just seem too much to bear. This is a place I would like to share with others who feel as I do. Therefore, welcome to the 'Path of Positivity Challenge' -- a different sort of challenge blog designed to inspire, nurture and provide support for the soul by creating a positive path to follow, one project or post at a time!

I hope that you will join me on this unique journey!  If you ever have any questions be sure to EMAIL ME or just leave me a comment.

Sincerely,
