"We have been given so many opportunities to care for others, and I'm grateful for each one. One of my fondest Christmas memories was the year we "brought" a Cozy and Warm Christmas to a family experiencing extreme hardship. Without going into details, we anonymously left everything needed for the month of December on the porch of a family experiencing extreme hardship a few days before Christmas. SO FUN!"Here is what Sandy had to say:
"My #4 choice is Donna Ellis.
I liked her challenge to create a mail-able card but also and more so,
her comment of caring. Delivering a holiday hamper and the humbleness
and caring for helping out a family…"

Suze and Vicky favoured the incredibly inspiring and moving post that Deb wrote.
This is what Vicky had to say:
"Wow what an incredibly caring woman she is to have taken this baby into her life as well as helping this young lady to get back on her feet. She really touched me with the comment...
"I hope that someone would care this much and help if it were my child going through this. I believe without a shadow of a doubt that there are enough good people out there to make this world a better place if we can just help each other."Being a mom this really brought tears to my eyes!!! So yes this is my choice and I'm sticking with it!!!!"
Suze was moved by two parts in particular...
"The first relates to the person Deb was helping:
"There haven't been a lot of good solid people in her life and as such she has a hard time trusting. Over the last few weeks we've built a friendship and I am trying hard to help her understand that good people do exist that there are people who care."
and also a more general statement":
"I believe without a shadow of a doubt that there are enough good people out there to make this world a better place if we can just help each other."To read more of what Deb had to say in this amazing entry, click HERE.
While I was truly taken by both inspirational pieces set forth above, I was also very moved by the card and story behind it, offered up by Princess. She volunteers to teach scrapbooking to cancer survivors to help them turn their pictures into cherished memories. Princess' bright and hopeful outlook is the exact kind of stop on the path that I look for. One can easily sense all the caring and love that has gone into creating this special card.
Princess herself states, " It gives them a sense of hope that life goes on and their story must be told." I'm very impressed by her dedication to help teach people how to track their journeys so that they can be comforted in leaving their legacy behind for others to see.
Thank you to everyone who played on our Pathway during the month of July. You all did an amazing job. The hard work you put into your creations was very apparent. Now if you were chosen as a DT Delight, then we have a special treat for you. Not only are you eligible for a special DT Delight badge, we will also be having a draw at the end of the year for a special package of digital goodies. So, if you are chosen as a DT Delight during any of our challenges, your name will be entered into the draw. You get one entry per choice; so, if two members picked your card, you will earn 2 entries. The draw will take place around the anniversary of when the Path of Positivity came into existence which will put the draw date sometime in April 2014. The winner at the time will be notified by email. In the interim you are more than welcome to copy your framed card above and add it to your blog to share with all your readers; and, don't forget to EMAIL ME for a copy of the special Challenge #4 DT Delight Badge.
Thank you for stopping by today. We hope that you will join us again tomorrow to learn what the newest theme for Challenge #6 will be.
