Ch. #118--Anything Goes POSITIVE with the Opt. Twist of: Design a Creation Inspired By MUSIC…Midway

 

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #118. It is my fond hope that each of you and your own families continue to stay happy, safe, and well, wherever it is you live in this big wide world of ours. 

As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work. Anything Goes POSITIVE with the Opt. Twist of 

Design a Creation Inspired By MUSIC

 

This year's goal is to take a look at the things around us that can inspire us in our creative journeys. As such, if you would like to participate in the optional twist this month, we want you to Design a Creation Inspired By MUSIC.

 

Music can have a positive effect on people. It can assist in relaxation, help reduce stress and even increase our productivity. It also has the ability to change our mood. Certain pieces of music can make us feel happy, sad, romantic, or excited. When we hear a song that we love, it can instantly change our mood and make us feel better. It brings people together, helps us to express our emotions and can even be a form of therapy. 

 

Whether you’re belting out your favourite power ballad in the shower or head-banging to aggressive metal in your car, music has a way of transporting us to another place. At this time of year we are surrounded by Christmas music. For many people, Christmas music helps to bring about feelings of happiness and warmth inside. It's the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. Whether you're listening to Christmas carols, or modern pop songs with a holiday twist, Christmas music will hopefully put a smile on your face. It needs to be said though that Christmas can also be a difficult time for some people. Especially those on their own, or those who've lost loved ones. If you fall into this category, it is understandable that Christmas music may have the opposite effect. If you do happen to be feeling down, whatever the reason, put on your favourite feel-good tunes, whichever type of genre they may fall into, and let the power of music work its magic.

 

If you want to follow the optional twist this month, it is time to show the world how MUSIC has inspired you in your creative journey. Remember though, the twist is completely optional and you don't need to follow it in order to win. However, in order to be considered eligible for this month's goodies, remember that general types of projects/posts will not qualify for the honours and prize UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Additionally, even if a project may qualify as positive, if your post promotes negativity, hatred or anything of an abhorrent nature, your project will be disqualified. Honours and Prize include:

• $6 worth of images from Scribbles Designs, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
• A badge for the following honours: Top Pick, Voter's Choice, Most Inspirational, Random Winner, DT Delight.

Each of these creations has demonstrated the theme of Creating Something Inspired By MUSIC admirably, and I hope we have encouraged you throughout this challenge to come up with your own piece of handiwork. Be sure to go and visit these talented ladies so you can see just how their projects tie in to the twist.

 

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! How are you influenced by music? Are there certain types of music or specific songs or artists that you listen to over and over?
