Challenge #74-Opt. Twist: THANKFULNESS...Midway

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #74.

In case you missed the information in our start post, I wanted to let you know that two of our team members will be going on an extended leave of absence to deal with issues going on in each of their personal lives. While it is difficult to say goodbye to our PoP Family Members, it is our hope that Julie and Pat will be able to return to us someday in the future. They do both have projects that are sharing with us for the month of November that each has prepared beforehand. However, they will not have an accompanying post on their blog. Any positive thoughts that you can extend their way would be greatly appreciated.

As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate, by clicking on the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #74

Optional Twist: THANKFULNESS

This challenge, our optional twist is a focus on THANKFULNESS. If you would like to challenge yourself, create a project that depicts thankfulness or gratitude in some way.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that general types of  projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Prizes this month include:
  •  THREE images from A Day for Daisies, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Talking of our sponsors...

To learn more about A Day for Daisies, this month's guest sponsor, be sure to check out the START post; and of course, also pay this generous company a visit. PLEASE NOTE that the ADFD store has closed down for now. Tammy is changing things up to go in a new direction and taking a break to do so. The store won't be closed forever so be sure to check back once in a while if you are a fan of her work!

http://buyscribblesdesigns.blogspot.ca/

During the midway, you will also be seeing projects from half of the team using images from Scribbles Designs, one of our on-going sponsors. Scribbles Designs will be providing the prize for the Most Inspirational choice during each challenge in 2019. Please be sure to pop over and check out the amazing images offered up by Sandy Sommerfeld, the designer behind Scribbles Designs.

To help inspire you further down the path of THANKFULNESS, check out the wonderful projects my Design Team had the opportunity to create.

As the A Day for Daisies store is closed we have simply included the name of the image featured in Julie, Suze and Katrina's DT creations. If you are interested in purchasing an image featured from Scribbles Designs, you can click on the link indicated below the project…

Thanks again to my fabulous design team! As always, each of them have their own exceptional approaches and concepts which impress me to no end. Each of these creations has demonstrated the theme of THANKFULNESS admirably and I hope we have encouraged you throughout this challenge to come up with your own piece of handiwork. Be sure to go and visit Suze, Katrina and Pippa so you can see just how their projects tie in to the twist.

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. Do you have a story to share on the concept of THANKFULNESS? If you'd like to share a story about a time in your life when you have been exceptionally thankful or if you would like to tell us about someone or something you are immensely grateful for, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post (or the start post) if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! You can find our list of participants and enter our latest challenge yourself by clicking HERE and scrolling down to the bottom of the post.

GENEROUSLY SPONSORED BY…

Ch. #73 Top Picks: Voting Open Nov. 11 to Nov. 18, 2019

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #73 POP TOP!

Hello folks!  I hope that your Path this past week has had lots of positive moments along the route. Before I get on with today's post, I just wanted to say a special thanks to the many people who have had the courage to stand up and fight for their countries. Our theme this month on the Path of Positivity is all about courage and there are no braver than the people who risk their lives so that others may live. As I write this, it is November 11th. A day that should always be remembered.

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in the year 1918, the battlefields drew quiet as the hostilities ceased. Thus bringing an end to World War I. Each of us living in Commonwealth countries around the world, should take a moment today to remember and honour those who have bravely fought in ALL wars to help keep the peace and keep us safe.

Now it is time to present the top picks from the last challenge. Sadly, we only had 11 entries in Challenge #73 (click HERE to see the original challenge). For the first time this year we don't have enough entries to have a Top Seven but we did have enough people participate that we can have a Top Three. As such, it is time to get on with showcasing the three projects and/or write-ups that touched the team the most.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #73

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick in this challenge,
you are entitled to a special Challenge #73 Top Pick Badge.
Please feel free to grab a copy for your blog...

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry. Which participant most inspires you? Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made. You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic. Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails. Then, let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Linky Tools feature. Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

 Good luck everyone!

Voting open for 7 days:
 November 11th through
November 18th

Challenge #74-Opt. Twist: THANKFULNESS...Nov. 4 – Dec. 1

Hello everyone and welcome to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the first Monday of the month and it is time for our newest challenge to begin!

Before we start I wanted to let you know that two of our team members will be going on an extended leave of absence to deal with issues going on in each of their personal lives. While it is difficult to say goodbye to our PoP Family Members, it is our hope that Julie and Pat will be able to return to us someday in the future. They do both have projects that they will be sharing with us for the month of November that each has prepared beforehand. However, they will not have an accompanying post on their blog. Any positive thoughts that you can extend their way would be greatly appreciated.

Since we are not your typical challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and you can find out all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

My wonderful design team continues to outdo themselves time and time again! They each have their own style and clever interpretation of the twist. Even after all this time, I continue to be astounded by the scope of greatness in their work! Each of these artful conceptions has showcased the notion of THANKFULNESS exceptionally and I hope we have inspired you. Be sure to go and visit Suze, Katrina and Pippa so you can see how their projects further connect to the twist.

So what are you waiting for? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. Do you have a story to share on the concept of THANKFULNESS? If you'd like to share a story about a time in your life when you have been exceptionally thankful or if you would like to tell us about someone or something you are immensely grateful for, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like. Finally, remember that we're trying to create a Path of Positivity so if you have some time, please visit other people participating throughout the month.

I hope to see you back next week when voting will [hopefully] begin on the Top Picks for Challenge #73. There will be a separate post detailing those picks where you will have the opportunity to vote on the creation or post that you have found to be the most positive, inspirational or encouraging of the chosen picks.

Then, be sure to join us again on November 15th when we'll be back with our midway featuring more great projects made with designs from A Day for Daisies along with some projects made with images from Scribbles Designs, one of our on-going sponsors.
