Challenge #86--Opt. Twist: REJOICE...Midway

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! Just a reminder that while we generally post our midway projects on the third Monday of the month, for this month only we are presenting the midway for Challenge #86 a week earlier due to the upcoming holidays. If you would like to read more about the changes this month, please refer to the start post which you can find HERE. Before we begin, I just want to say that I hope that each of you continue to stay well in your own little communities across this world. Additionally, from everyone here at The Path of Positivity, we wish you a very special holiday!

Now it is time to continue with the reason why you are all here today. As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate, by clicking on the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #86

Optional Twist: REJOICE

This challenge, our optional twist is REJOICE. For many, this time of year is an occasion for happiness. While the pandemic makes this year harder to get together with those you may normally spend time with during the holiday season, there are still many reasons we have to rejoice. Thus, we want you to create a project that reflects the JOY of the holiday season.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that general types of  projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Additionally, even if a project may qualify as positive, if your post promotes negativity, hatred or anything of an abhorrent nature, your project will be disqualified. Prizes this month include:
  • A $10 gift certificate from Limited Runs, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Talking of our sponsors...

To learn more about Limited Runs, this month's guest sponsor, be sure to check out the START post; and of course, also pay this generous company a visit.

Scribbles Designs will be providing the prize for the Most Inspirational choice during each challenge in 2020. Please be sure to pop over and check out the amazing images offered up by Sandy Sommerfeld, the designer behind Scribbles Designs.

Thanks again to my fabulous design team! As always, each of them have their own exceptional approaches and concepts which impress me to no end. Each of these creations has demonstrated the theme of REJOICING admirably and I hope we have encouraged you throughout this challenge to come up with your own piece of handiwork. Be sure to go and visit these talented ladies so you can see just how their projects tie in to the twist.

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. While this year has been a hard one for many, there are still things out there that can be bring joy and happiness to your life. If it is difficult to think of the big things that make you joyful, try to think about the small things. What do you have in your life to REJOICE over? Do the people in your life help to bring joy during the difficult times? What little routines do you have that help to make you happy? If you'd like to tell us how the concept of REJOICING impacts your life, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! You can find our list of participants and enter our latest challenge yourself by clicking HERE and scrolling down to the bottom of the post.
