Challenge #36--BEAUTY...March 7th to April 3rd

It is the first Monday in March and that means it is time for the next challenge to start.  This time around, for Challenge #36 the theme is "BEAUTY".  Show us your interpretation of what beauty means to you.  You can make any sort of project and/or post as long as it is positive in nature and relates to the theme.

Our world is filled beauty.  Whether we see it in the people around us, in the animals that populate the planet or in the wonder of nature, beauty can be found everywhere we look.  Once again, this month's theme can take you in so many different directions.  As usual my team, has come up with some interesting ideas so be sure to pop over to their blogs and see how their creations connect with the concept of this challenge.  Whatever approach you take, we look forward to seeing your interpretation on this month's theme.

Don't forget when you link up your project and/or post, to please leave a comment letting us know how your creation relates to the concept of beauty if it isn't readily clear within the design itself or clearly written somewhere else in your post.  Remember, the creation must be positive/inspirational/motivational AND adhere to the theme of beauty in order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes.  While you may easily see how beauty relates to your creation, it may not be as apparent to me or the DT members.  That is why we ask that you clarify it somewhere, whether here or in your blogpost.  You can simply write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, if it would be easier.  We just need to know how your project ties into the theme.  Letting us know, clears up any ambiguity that may exist.

This month's guest sponsors...

This month we have two returning sponsors!

First up, we have Lunagirl.  Here is a refresher of what Karen's company is all about...

http://www.lunagirl.com/
My name is Karen, owner of Lunagirl Images. In 2004, after collecting vintage ephemera for most of my life, I started digitizing and restoring images and designing digital supplies for artists and crafters (my husband collected antique books and prints, so we had quite a house full!) We are proud to have been the first company to offer digital vintage image collections of this size and quality at prices affordable to the home crafter.

At Lunagirl.com (and in my etsy shop) I currently offer you several hundred unique digital collage sheets and dozens of themed craft CDs -- over 30,000 images so far! They are a great resource for card making, scrapbooking, jewelry making, and much more, easy to use, carefully researched and curated, all thoughtfully organized and lovingly cleaned up, ready to you to use in your projects. I love altering and embellishing these beautiful and fascinating images and seeing what my customers create with them.

In addition to digital art and design, I enjoy painting on wood, creating assemblage icons and shrines, reading history books, bellydancing, cooking, and sewing with my vintage Singer. I'm also blessed to be the mom of two teenaged boys.

If you're looking for something in particular in vintage style, feel free to email me at info@Lunagirl.com!

Design Team Delights for Challenge #34--PROSPERITY

First off I need to apologize for anyone who has written an email and is waiting for an answer or for something from me.  I haven't been well this past month and just haven't had the time to check in with the Path of Positivity account.  I am really hoping to get to my mail this week, so as always, thank you for your patience.

Right now, it is time to share our favourite entries for Challenge #34.  As always, in each challenge you, the readers, get to voice your opinion by voting for your favourite and so it is only fitting that my Design Team get to do so as well.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to join along our Path during the month of January for Challenge #34Check out the entries that really caught our attention...
Lidia--chosen by Pippa and Pat...
Here is what Pippa had to say:
"My DT Delight is Lidia R and that amazing calendar. I also liked how she used it as a reminder that prosperity to her is about loving and forgiving all year round."

This is what Pat had to say:
"My DT Delight is Lidia I love the flow of image, colors and embellishments on the calendar page."

To see the details of Lidia's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Asmah--chosen by Katrina and Julie...

Katrina said this:
"My DT Delight is Asmah.  Asmah's journal page is so beautiful full of color and texture! The quote is so true and the best way to gain prosperity is through independence, intelligence and bravery!  Asmah said she learned this from her mother,"

"Growing up, that's what my Mother has taught me to be independent in order to be successful and someday I will gain the fruit of prosperity that only comes with hard work."
Julie had this to say:
"My DT Delight is #10, Asmah.  I love the design and colors of this, plus her description in her post is very moving."

To see the details of Asmah's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Teresa--chosen by Lisa (that's me)...

My DT Delight this time around is Teresa.  She made a gorgeous unique birthday card using some craft supplies that friends and family members had saved up for her.  I loved how she tied that in with prosperity:"
"Little kindnesses, given at unexpected times and just because someone was thinking of me, are truly marks of a blessed and prosperous life."
Prosperity can come in many ways--the little things are just as important as the bigger ones.

To see the details of Teresa's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.

Creative Congratulations to all of you!

Thank you to everyone who played on our Pathway during the month of January.  As always we greatly appreciate you sharing your incredible talents with us.

For our DT Delights chosen for this challenge...

  Lidia, Asmah, and Teresa

You are all entitled to one image of your choice from our on-going sponsor...

If you are familiar with the Creative Bug Digital SnapShots store, PLEASE NOTE THAT THINGS HAVE CHANGED.   Unfortunately, the website is no longer available.  As such I created a page on the originating blog that lists all of the images available.  Please click HERE to check out the image previews.  I have tried to arrange them into general categories.  Due to the nature of some of these images, they have been repeated in certain applicable categories.  Be sure to click on the watermarks to bring them up into the lightbox for better viewing.  Once you've made your decision, please send me the name of the one image you want and let me know which section it came from.

Additionally, you are entitled to the special Challenge #34 DT Delight Badge. To claim both your digi and the badge (or just one or the other), send your requests to popwinners {at} gmail {dot} com (be sure to replace at and dot with the appropriate symbols) or by clicking HERE to bring the address up in your email program, with the subject, "PoP#34-DT Delight Badge and/or Digi Request".   I'm always running rather behind these days, so your patience is appreciated.

Our special yearly prize package will also still be taking place.  Remember, if you are chosen as a DT Delight during any of our challenges, your name will be entered into a draw for some digital goodies.  You get one entry per choice; so, if two members picked your card, you will earn 2 entries, three members 3 entries, etc.  The winner at the time will be notified by email.   The next draw will occur sometime in the summer of 2016.

Thank you for stopping by today.  If you haven't entered already, there is still one week left to join our challenge with the current theme of DESIRE.  You can find the link at the top of the right sidebar. Additionally, I hope to see you all next Monday, March 7th, when we will be back with the start of Challenge #36.  We hope that you will join us then to learn what the newest theme will be.
