Challenge #4--Last Week to Submit Entries

Hello everyone and happy Monday!

It is the final week for submitting an entry into Challenge #4 over here on the Path of Positivity.

I've got a few bonus projects to help bring some caring energy your way.

First up we have...

Ike played with the lovey DS4J image called Merle.  DigiStamps4Joy is our guest sponsor this month so it is great to get another chance to show off the wonderful image the DT had to play with at the beginning of the challenge.  Ike also used one of the quotes I created for the team to work with if they wanted to.

Next up, we have...

Now while Desíre didn't create this card for this post, it is still a great example to show you.  This card was created for another of Desíre's team obligations but the fact that she used one of my caring quotes, the exact same one as Ike in fact, it made it another wonderfully inspiring piece that I could share with all of you.

Finally, I too managed to squeak something out late last night...

On the inside of my card, I used the image called, 'Ladybug Layover' from one of our sponsors, Creative Bug Digitals.

Clicking on the team members name will take you to their blog where you can check out the details for their inspirational creations! If you are interested in visiting Desíre's catd, click HERE as the post went out last week.
I'm rather excited as we are up to 40 entries thus far!  However, there is always room for more so if you haven't entered already, please come and join in our Path of Positivity.  Create a project and/or post that is positive AND relates to caring, provide an explanation of how your project and/or post relates to the theme somewhere in your post or come over and leave a comment with the explanation.  Easy, peasy!

Also, I know that the participants would love for to visit them.  Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you!

As a reminder, I've included the summary of the challenge details below.  If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog).

Don't Forget to join us this weekend...

There have been some changes to the DT so come on over on Saturday to meet our newest member.  Then, on Sunday, the Design Team will be sharing their favourite picks from Challenge #3.  Talking of challenge #3, please remember that if you are a winner, you need to email me for your badge and prizes.  So far, not one of the four winners has contacted me.  If you entered a project, or left a comment after voting, you are eligible to win two of the four prizes available.  The remaining two prizes were awarded to participants chosen among the top seven.  If you missed the winner's post for challenge #3, you can check it out by clicking HERE.

LOOKING FOR ANOTHER MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE ON CARING?
Now it seems that the caring quote used by Ike and Desíre above was a rather popular one among DT members.  So, for my final CARING QUOTE offering of the month, I'm going to give this quote away.  If you are interested in obtaining it, please visit me on my own personal blog by clicking HERE.  Of course, once again, I am running late with getting my own personal post done on time for the corresponding 6:00 p.m. posting, so please be patient with me.  I am hoping to have it completed within the hour, hopefully sooner.

SUMMARY
Whether you are new and need to familiarize yourself with all the details,  or a returning participant and just need to refresh yourself, you can always find out everything you need to know in order to enter this challenge in the 'Challenge Details' tab at the top of the page. I've provided a quick summary below.  Please note that dates and times listed below are for this particular challenge only:

  • Each Path of Positivity challenge will remain open for approx. a full month.  Entries for this challenge will be accepted from July 1st to August 4th.
  • Link up your inspirational post below using Inlinkz. You will be able to submit your link up to 11:55 p.m. on August 4th.
  • When you link up, leave a comment summarizing what it is about your post that you feel is inspirational  / positive / motivational and how it fits into the theme if you have not included this information somewhere within your post.
  • Don't forget to come back throughout the month and visit others that have participated.
  • Voting for this challenge will begin once the top seven have been determined.  There will be a separate post detailing the top seven.  You will then have the opportunity to vote on the creation or post that you have found to be the most inspirational of the chosen seven.  Be sure to leave a comment telling us what it was that inspired you or something in general if you uncomfortable disclosing any details of your vote.
  • This month, prizes will be the following:
    • Ten digital images from Creative Bug Digital Stamps for the person out of the top seven who receives the most votes during voting week.
    • Three digital images from Ike's World  for the post or project that the DT deems most inspiring of the bunch.
    • Five images from Digistamps4Joy, this month's guest sponsor for a person chosen in a random draw based on all entrants.
    • One digital designer paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles for one lucky voter who leaves a comment.
    • One digital sentiment for every single person who enters the challenge.

Please show your support to our fabulous sponsors by going over and checking out their work and saying hi if you have the chance.  In addition to Digistamps4Joy, our guest sponsor for the month...

on my personal blog.

If you ever have any questions be sure to EMAIL ME or just leave me a comment.

We look forward to seeing you participate!

Have a wonderful week everyone.  And remember, always show others the care and concern that you yourself would like to receive back.  Can you imagine what the world would be like if we became a more caring community?

 Big Congrats to...

  Donna, Carol, Rachel & Charlene

Please click HERE to send us an email with the subject, "WINNER PoP Challenge #3" to make arrangements to receive your prize and badge (where applicable).

Please not that I didn't use random.org this month.  As I had to eliminate some entries due to the fact that they did not adhere to the theme of Strength, nor reply back to my inquiries for clarification, it was easier to plug the eligible names into a random name generator.  The random name generator I used is from the site Mini Web Tool.

All entrant's in Challenge #3 are entitled to a special quote based on the theme for the upcoming challenge.  Once again, only one person requested it in the last challenge. I'm not sure if people just aren't interested or just aren't reading this far if they come back at all.  I'll give it another shot and see how it goes this time around.  So, if you were one of the 18 people who entered Challenge #3 and would like to receive a free sentiment based on the theme for Challenge #5, which starts in two weeks, please click HERE to send us an email with the subject line, "PoP Challenge #3 Entrant Quote".

Don't forget, there is still lots of time to enter in this month's challenge on CARING.  Click HERE for details.  If you haven't linked up already, I hope that you will consider coming over to play with us.  We'd love to have you join our Path!

May all your days continue to overflow with positivity!

Challenge #4--Midway & Voting Reminder

Hello everyone and welcome to the midway point of Challenge #4.  The theme for this month's challenge is CARING.  I am so thrilled that we already have 23 entries thus far.  That is already five more than we had total, for the last challenge.  I am glad that so many people are finding, and liking, our unique challenge blog.

I hope that you have all had a wonderful weekend.  For those of you out there who are struggling to stay positive due to unfortunate circumstances, I hope that you know you are surrounded by caring individuals.  It is just a matter of reaching out and connecting.  No matter what is going on, try and hold on to just a glimmer of hope.  It really does make a difference in the long run!

I myself, am so honoured to be supported by so many caring individuals including my design team members.  I have two members today all set to help inspire you!

First up we have...

Suze had used the beautiful image, Lady 1, from our wonderful regular sponsor, Ike's Art.  If you are interested in purchasing this gorgeous gal, click on the watermark to head to the People section of the store. Suze has also used the free sentiment that we gave away at the beginning of Challenge #4.  You can find it by clicking HERE and scrolling down to the end of the post.

Next up is...

Sandy has used 'Pelican Pete' from our guest sponsor for the month, DigiStamps4Joy.  She cleverly paired it with my 'Can' quote that was offered up as prize for all entrants of Challenge #2.  If you participated in Challenge #2 and want this quote, just email me by clicking HERE.  If you are interested in purchasing this cute pelican, click on the watermark to head to its location in the DS4J store.

Finally I too had a few extra moments to pull something together...

To create this digital design, I have used the awesome freebie that Ike has out right now on her blog HERE but you'll have to act really quickly because it won't be up for long.  I have paired it with the quote that I am offering up today on my own personal blog.  See below for more details.

Clicking on the team members name will take you to their blog where you can check out the details for their inspirational creations!
So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for?

Don't Forget...

You still have 3 days to vote on your favourite entry for Challenge #3.  Now while close to 200 people have checked out the Top Seven, there have only been 25 votes.  Voting is quick, easy and painless so I hope you will consider casting your vote if you haven't already.  To check out the Top Seven and cast your vote click HERE.  You have until Thursday, July 18th at 11:55 pm to have your say in who walks away with the Voter's Choice prize.  If everything goes according to plan, the winners for Challenge #3 will be announced next Monday.

Challenge #3 Top Seven: Voting Open July 8th to July 18th, 2013

Welcome to the first ever PoP ToP!

The DT has been hard at work narrowing entries down for our first ever Top Seven.  Why seven and not the typical three, four or even five?  Well, we strive to be different over here on the Path of Positivity.  Additionally, seven is a spiritual number and thus right in the wheelhouse of the vibe we are looking to project; so, seven it is.  However, I can tell you it wasn't an easy decision narrowing things down.  Boy, if it was this difficult with only 18 entries, how difficult is it going to be when there are 50, 100 or even 200?  Yes, I have big plans that more people will jump onto our Path and want to spread the Positive energy themselves.  It is only a matter of time before they find us, like you have already.

Without further ado, let me present to you the Top Seven for Challenge #3 (in no particular order)...

Have Your Say!

Now the really hard work starts.  It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry.  Which participant most inspires you?  Please let us know by placing your vote below using the Inlinkz feature.  Now since this is the first time I've tried to link up other people's entries, there may be a few hiccups but I promise I will try and work them all out as quickly as I can if they do appear.

Voting open for 10 days:
July 8th - July 18th

So, come have your say in determining the Voter's Choice for Challenge #3!  Don't forget to leave a comment after you have voted.  There will be a prize for one lucky voter who leaves a comment (chosen randomly).   You should be able to visit any of these lovely entries by clicking on the thumbnail or name in the linkup below, after you have voted.

Good luck everyone!

Important  Note:
Please note that in order for this to work, I must add all the entries but I can only do this AFTER I have published this post.  So there will be some overlap time between when this post is published and when you will be able to vote.  Once I have uploaded the entries there will be a total of seven images below on which to vote.  If there are less than seven, it means that I am still in the process of adding the images and you should come back in a little while to make your vote.  Please note also that I am having sporadic Internet connections so it may take longer than I hope to accomplish this.  Thank you for your patience!
