Design Team Delights for Challenge #31--RESILIENCY

It is time to share our favourite entries for Challenge #31.  As always, in each challenge you, the readers, get to voice your opinion by voting for your favourite and so it is only fitting that my Design Team get to do so as well.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to join along our Path during the month of October for Challenge #31Check out the entries that really caught our attention...
Pippa--chosen by Julie...

Julie had this to say:
"My DT Delight is Pippa.  She talks of a rose that got neglected at some rental property. She and her husband lovingly transplanted it to their vegetable garden. She goes on to say, 'It has been a few months now and that rose has proved to have an amazing amount of resiliency. Not only does it have several stems on it but it even managed to produce a few blooms in the summer. She also talks of the resiliency of her children.  I was very inspired by her post, and how she tied it in to her pretty rose card."

Susan--chosen by Pat...

This is what Pat had to say:
"My DT Delight is Susan Kennedy.  She says":
"Resiliency means sticking to it.. not giving up.  I am on this journey with my body and obstacles will get in my way, but prayer and the support of others will help me through.  As well as my resiliency to never give up, never give in.  I can do this!"

Brenda--chosen by Desíre and Katrina...

Here is what Desíre had to say:
"My DT Delight is Brenda.  Not only is her card beautiful with the purples, but it is for such a good cause. Brenda had this to say about abuse":
"You may not know, I work in a hospital and unfortunately have cared for several victims of abuse.  The "typical" victim does not exist. I have seen all ages, all sexual orientations, all socioeconomic groups affected by devastating, life altering abuse both physical and/or emotional.  I pray for an end and thank those who are really making a difference for this cause."
Katrina said this:
"My DT Delight is also Brenda.  I love the beauty in this card and what it represents in ending domestic violence.  The resiliency the victims exhibit is amazing. I thank Brenda for reminding us of this."

Teresa--chosen by Monica...

Here is what Monica had to say:
"My DT Delight is Teresa.  Pet Sympathy cards always touch my heart.  Having two little Dachshunds of my own, I can only imagine the pain to lose a furry little friend."

To see the details of Teresa's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Maya--chosen by Lisa (that's me)...

My DT Delight this time around is Maya.  She made this incredible mixed media art journal creation.  It turned out absolutely beautiful, full of vibrant blues and yellows.  While the journal entry was incredibly crafted, it was the quote that really resonated with me.  The focus of her page was the concept, "Shoot for the moon.  Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."  Talk about a quote perfect for resiliency!

We should all have goals.  It gives us something to strive for in our lives.  The key is that even if you don't obtain a specific goal, you can't stop fighting for them.  You have to be resilient and keep trying.  Sometimes, we aren't meant to achieve the actual goal and it is more about the journey of trying.  Sometimes, there are other blessings that you may find along the way instead.

Creative Congratulations to all of you!

Pippa, Susan, Brenda, Teresa and Maya

You are all entitled to one image of your choice from our on-going sponsor...

If you are familiar with the Creative Bug Digital SnapShots store, PLEASE NOTE THAT THINGS HAVE CHANGED.   Unfortunately, the website is no longer available.  As such I created a page on the originating blog that lists all of the images available.  Please click HERE to check out the image previews.  I have tried to arrange them into general categories.  Due to the nature of some of these images, they have been repeated in certain applicable categories.  Be sure to click on the watermarks to bring them up into the lightbox for better viewing.  Once you've made your decision, please send me the name of the one image you want and let me know which section it came from.

Additionally, you are entitled to the special Challenge #31 DT Delight Badge. To claim both your digi and the badge (or just one or the other), send your requests to popwinners {at} gmail {dot} com (be sure to replace at and dot with the appropriate symbols) or by clicking HERE to bring the address up in your email program, with the subject, "PoP#31--DT Delight Badge and/or Digi Request".   I'm always running rather behind these days, so your patience is appreciated.

Our special yearly prize package will also still be taking place.  Remember, if you are chosen as a DT Delight during any of our challenges, your name will be entered into a draw for some digital goodies.  You get one entry per choice; so, if two members picked your card, you will earn 2 entries, three members 3 entries, etc.  The winner at the time will be notified by email.   The next draw will occur sometime in the summer of 2016.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Since this month has an extra Monday in it, you still have time to play in our current challenge on Gratefulness.  You can find all the info you need by clicking HERE.

Then, I hope to see you all next Monday on December 7th, when we will be back with the start of Challenge #33.  We hope that you will join us then to learn what the newest theme will be.

See you again soon!

Challenge #32--GRATEFULNESS: Midway & Voting Reminder

Hello everyone! We have reached the midway point of Challenge #32. The theme for this challenge is all about GRATEFULNESS.  If you are looking for some introspection on the topic of gratitude, be sure to check out Pat's Pondering which was posted on Friday (click HERE to find it).  And of course, you'll also find some interesting thoughts on gratefulness over on my Design Team's posts as well.

Just before we continue, I wanted to let you all know that Monica has decided to leave the team.  This will be the last creation from her; although we will still get to see her DT Delight Choice for this challenge when it comes out next month.  Monica has been a true blessing to have on our team and will be sadly missed.  We wish her only the best as she goes forward in her life.  Please be sure to visit her this week and let her know how much she has inspired you over the course of her time with us--just a little over a year and a half!

Anyway, it is time to get on with our midway!
Here are the watermarks and links for the wonderful images that the team worked with for the midway.
