Challenge #78-Opt. Twist: BEAUTY OF BOTANICALS...Midway

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #78. Before we start, I just want to say that I hope that each of you is well in your own little community across this world during an unprecedented time in our lives. Now, more than ever we need to maintain a positive outlook and look out for the most vulnerable members of our communities.

If any of you are stuck spending more time indoors, it is the perfect time to catch up on some crafting.

As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate, by clicking on the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.
Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #78

Optional Twist:

This challenge, our optional twist is a focus on the BEAUTY OF BOTANICALS. The beauty of the botanical world is all around us. Whether we live in rural areas or more urban ones, the botanicals around us exude their divine beauty in a torrent of textures and colours which have the ability to delight and tantalize the multitude of our senses. Something that can definitely enrich our day and bring more positivity into our lives. If you would like to challenge yourself this month, create a project that depicts the allure and influence of botanicals. You can choose flowers, greenery or a combination of the two to show your love of nature's bounty.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that general types of  projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Prizes this month include:
  • Three images from SheepSki Designs, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Talking of our sponsors...

To learn more about SheepSki Designs, this month's guest sponsor, be sure to check out the START post; and of course, also pay this generous company a visit.

During the midway, you will also be seeing projects from half of the team using images from Scribbles Designs, one of our on-going sponsors. Scribbles Designs will be providing the prize for the Most Inspirational choice during each challenge in 2020. Please be sure to pop over and check out the amazing images offered up by Sandy Sommerfeld, the designer behind Scribbles Designs.

To help inspire you further down the path of BEAUTY OF BOTANICALS, check out the wonderful projects my Design Team had the opportunity to create.

Clicking on each team member's name will take you to their blog where you can check out the details for their inspirational creations. If you are interested in purchasing the image featured in a particular creation, you can click on the link indicated below the project…

Thanks again to my fabulous design team! As always, each of them have their own exceptional approaches and concepts which impress me to no end. Each of these creations has demonstrated the theme of BEAUTY OF BOTANICALS admirably and I hope we have encouraged you throughout this challenge to come up with your own piece of handiwork. Be sure to go and visit these talented ladies so you can see just how their projects tie in to the twist.

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. How are you affected by the BEAUTY OF BOTANICALS? Spring will soon be here. Does the scent of blossoming flowers or freshly growing grass help to enhance your mood? Does the thought of seeing fresh flowers emerging from the ground or observing the first sign of growth on the trees and in the shrubbery help to renew and revitalize you? If you'd like to tell us how you are moved by flowers and other botanical elements, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! You can find our list of participants and enter our latest challenge yourself by clicking HERE and scrolling down to the bottom of the post.

Please show your support to our wonderful sponsors by going over and checking out their work and saying hi if you have the chance. You may also just find an image or two to add your your collection!

Along with SheepSki Designs, our guest sponsor this challenge, and Scribbles Designs, one of our on-going sponsors, we also have two additional ongoing sponsors including...

Thank you so much to all these awesome companies for their

Images for Challenge #77 Top Picks Voting Now Visible

Hey folks! It was brought to my attention today that the Linky wasn't showing any of the entries in our Top Picks list for Challenge #77, making voting impossible. I'm not sure what happened because they were all visible when I put the list together. The entries are visible once again and hopefully it will stay that way. I've edited the post to reflect that voting will be now open from today until next Thurs. (March 19).

If you tried to vote earlier this week and were unable to, I invite you to come back and try again. My sincere apologies for the glitch. That is two months in a row there have been problems with our Top Picks Linky List. Not sure what is going on but hopefully there won't be a third!!!

You can find the current Top Picks post HERE or by scrolling down one post.

Enjoy the remainder of your week and I hope you are all staying healthy out there!

Ch. #77 Top Picks: Voting Open Mar. 9 to Mar. 19, 2020

Hello folks!  I hope that your Path this past week has had lots of positive moments along the route.

It is time to present the top picks from the last challenge. Since we had 15 entries in Challenge #77 (click HERE to see the original challenge), it is time to get on with showcasing the seven projects and/or write-ups that touched the team the most. In case you are new and wondering why seven and not the typical three, four or even five? Any time that we have more than 14 entries, we have a top seven (with 14 entries or under we just have a top three). We always strive to be a bit different over here on the Path of Positivity and this is just another way to do so. Additionally, seven is a spiritual number and thus right in the wheelhouse of the vibe we are looking to project; so, seven it is when enough people join in.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #77

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick in this challenge,
you are entitled to a special Challenge #77 Top Pick Badge.
Please feel free to grab a copy for your blog...

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry. Which participant most inspires you? Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made. You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic. Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails. Then, let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Linky Tools feature. Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

 Good luck everyone!

EDIT: Due to Linky List Problems
Voting now open through March 19th
