Challenge #68--Opt. Twist: HAPPINESS...Midway

It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #68.

As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate in the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Don't forget, we've made some changes to our rules for 2019, including the fact that ALL entries now qualify for the Most Inspirational prize and that the optional twist is simply a way for you to stretch yourself as a designer if you'd like. You can read about all these changes at the top of the START post for JANUARY.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #68

Optional Twist: HAPPINESS

This challenge, our optional twist is a focus on HAPPINESS. If you would like to challenge yourself, create a project designed to spread the message of happiness.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that regular types of projects such as birthday cards, or other general type projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Prizes this month include:

  • A $10 gift certificate from Limited Runs, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

  • Talking of our sponsors...

To learn more about Limited Runs, this month's guest sponsor, be sure to check out the START post; and of course, also pay this generous company a visit.

Challenge #67 Top Picks: Voting Open April 8 to April 15, 2019

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #67 POP TOP!

Hello folks! It is time to present the top picks from the last challenge. Since we had 30 entries in Challenge #67 it is time to get on with showcasing the seven projects and/or write-ups that touched the team the most. In case you are new and wondering why seven and not the typical three, four or even five? Any time that we have more than 14 entries, we have a top seven. We always strive to be a bit different over here on the Path of Positivity and this is just another way to do so. Additionally, seven is a spiritual number and thus right in the wheelhouse of the vibe we are looking to project; so, seven it is when enough people join in.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #67

    Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick in this challenge,
you are entitled to a special Challenge #67 Top Pick Badge.
Please feel free to grab a copy for your blog...

    HAVE YOUR SAY!

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry. Which participant most inspires you? Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made. You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic. Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails. Then, let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Linky Tools feature. Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

     Good luck everyone!

    Voting open for 7 days:
    April 8
    through April 15

    Challenge #68--Opt. Twist: HAPPINESS...April 1-May 5

Hello everyone and welcome to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! Apologies for publishing a bit later than usual this evening. Not only is it one of those months where all three of the challenges I take care of converge on the same day for posting but I was on the phone earlier this afternoon with my best friend who just found out that her father has been given two to four weeks to live. This is such devastating news and it has thrown me for a loop. Her dad has dealt with health problems over the last several years and is currently in the hospital but this news was not expected. I would ask that those of you who pray, to please send up a special prayer of comfort for Laurie and her family as they adjust to this news. It is a bit ironic that the twist this month is happiness considering what her family is dealing with. However, at the same time, one can only hope that even during such shattering news, her family can share in some happy moments together in the time they have left with their patriarch.

Now, it is time to continue on with the reason you are all here. It is the first Monday of a brand new month so it is time for our latest challenge to begin!

As mentioned in January, we've made a few important changes for 2019. If this is your first visit here this year and you'd like to read up on those changes, click HERE. You can find them towards the top of that post.

Since we are not your typical challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and you can find out all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...
