Thanks to the people who took the time to join along our Path during the month of June for Challenge #81. Out of the 29 entries linked up, check out the ones that really caught our attention...

Monique--chosen by Katrina and Lisa (that's me)…

Katrina said this:
"My DT Delight is Monique (#08). I just adore this festive card! The mail spilling out of the bag and Santa sitting in his overstuffed chair reading in his slippers is just adorable! Great textures, colors, and theme! Santa must feel some serious success on December 26th! ;)"

My thoughts:
My DT Delight is also Monique (#08). I'm such a fan of Christmas and this creation is spectacular! I just love that adorable image of Santa reading through his mail surrounded by the larger versions of letters. Santa looks comfy in that chair with his slippers on and cat nearby, creating a really sweet scene."

Ellie--chosen by Suze…

Suze had this to say:
"My DT Delight is Ellie (#06). I love all the yellow from the honeycomb through to the bee as the feature. I also like the addition of the text at the bottom which creates some additional interest."

Danka--chosen by Carole…

Carole said this:
"My DT Delight is Danka (#27). A beautifully crafted z-fold wedding card in a box. The lovely papers and floral embellishments in soft hues of lavender and purple are complimented by pretty die cuts and a tag."

Challenge #82--Opt. Twist: EXPLORING THE FANTASTICAL...Midway

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #82. Before we start, I just want to say that I hope that each of you continue to stay well in your own little communities across this world.

Now it is time to continue with the reason why you are all here today. As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate, by clicking on the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #82

Optional Twist:

EXPLORING THE FANTASTICAL

This challenge, our optional twist is to encourage you in EXPLORING THE FANTASTICAL. Fantasy can be very enriching. It can give us a place to escape to or help us explore difficult topics in a way that is easier to process than if it was done more directly. This month create a project that touches on the world of fantasy, wonder, magic or whimsy.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that general types of  projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Prizes this month include:
  • A $10.00 AU gift voucher that can be redeemed for digital stamps from Beccy's Place, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Talking of our sponsors...

Do you EXPLORE THE FANTASTICAL in your own life, whether in literature, movies or elsewhere? Is there someone in your life that loves the world of fantasy? If you'd like to tell us how fantasy impacts yourself or someone you know, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Ch. #81 Top Picks: Voting Open Aug. 10 to Aug. 17, 2020

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #81 POP TOP!

Hello folks!  Even though we continue to face difficult times, I hope that your Path this past week has included several positive moments along the route and that you and your families are all doing your best to stay healthy.

It is time to present the top picks from the last challenge. Since we had a wonderful 29 entries in Challenge #81 (click HERE to see the original challenge with the theme of Success), it is time to get on with showcasing the seven projects and/or write-ups that touched the team the most. In case you are new and wondering why seven and not the typical three, four or even five? Any time that we have more than 14 entries, we have a top seven (with 14 entries or under we just have a top three). We always strive to be a bit different over here on the Path of Positivity and this is just another way to do so. Additionally, seven is a spiritual number and thus right in the wheelhouse of the vibe we are looking to project; so, seven it is when enough people join in.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #81

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick in this challenge,
you are entitled to a special Challenge #81 Top Pick Badge.
Please feel free to grab a copy for your blog...

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry. Which participant most inspires you? Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made. You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic. Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails. Then, let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Linky Tools feature. Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

 Good luck everyone!

Challenge #82--Opt. Twist: EXPLORING THE FANTASTICAL...Aug. 3─Sept. 6

Hello everyone and welcome to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! We're back from our summer break and hope that you all continue to stay healthy and as positive as you can under the circumstances. I know it can be difficult but it is important to keep our spirits focused on the good things that are in our lives even as we have to deal with the negative.

My apologies if it appears as though sections may be missing or things look wonky. I'm preparing this post ahead of time and promise to check on it after it has published but the new Blogger editor has...well, let's just say it is severely trying my patience. I'll work on a post and come back to edit and partial paragraphs or links will have disappeared creating frustration and of course the additional time to fix it all. Hopefully, this post won't be too hard to follow until I can check and correct any issues that crop up between now and publishing.

Now for the reason you are here. It is the first Monday of the month, it is time for our latest challenge to begin!

Since we are not your typical challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and you can find out all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can also be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Talking of our guest sponsor...

We are very pleased to have Beccy's Place join us as this month's guest sponsor. It is time for us to refresh ourselves with the details of this awesome company!

 http://www.beccysplace.com/
My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing. There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too! I still dabble in each of those crafts, and many others, but I generally gravitate toward paper, which I find versatile and forgiving.

I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies. From there I progressed to my very own online store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects. In 2012, Margaret Myers from Sparkle N Sprinkle contacted me with a proposal to make some of my designs into rubber stamps, which was a very exciting opportunity for me. Four years later, I decided to further expand my business by offering my very own range of clear stamps, which are also sold from my online store. My latest venture is a line of cutting dies that will coordinate with some of my most popular clear stamps. These days, when I’m not hanging out with my husband and kids, I spend a lot of time with other crafters and card makers, enjoying our shared passion for handcrafts. I can’t imagine a day without some sort of creative activity taking place, whether it’s designing a new image, hand-stitching a little toy or just taking some inspirational photographs.

My wonderful design team continues to outdo themselves time and time again! They each have their own style and clever interpretation of the twist. Even after all this time, I continue to be astounded by the scope of greatness in their work! Each of these artful conceptions has showcased the notion of EXPLORING THE FANTASTICAL exceptionally and I hope we have inspired you. Be sure to go and visit each team member so you can see how her project further connects to the twist.

So what are you waiting for? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up.
