Ellie--chosen by Katrina…

Katrina said this:
"My DT Delight is Ellie (#04). I'm enamored with the design of this card! I love the text along the bottom with the peaceful scene above it all! The way the birds are looking at that little hanging star tells the story for me! Beautiful! "

"My DT Delight is also Rosi (#06)I cannot get over the beautiful sky, so vibrant and alive. Also the link to the film trailer makes me want to see the film!"

Challenge #87--Opt. Twist: LOOK FOR THE POSITIVE...Midway

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #87. Before we start, I just want to say that I hope that each of you continue to stay well in your own little communities across this world.

Now it is time to continue with the reason why you are all here today. As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate, by clicking on the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #87

Optional Twist:

LOOK FOR THE POSITIVE

This challenge, our optional twist is to LOOK FOR THE POSITIVE. 2020 was quite the year wasn't it?! For many, it was a hard year and very difficult to stay positive all the time. When things are the worst though, that is when we need positivity the most. That is why this year we are going to start by asking you to create a project where you look for the positive. This could include goals, strategies, motivational posters/cards/wall hangings, journals, calendars, cards to inspire others to stay positive, etc. Anything about how we might look to a positive future in 2021!!!

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that general types of  projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Additionally, even if a project may qualify as positive, if your post promotes negativity, hatred or anything of an abhorrent nature, your project will be disqualified. Prizes this month include:
  • THREE images from SheepSki Designs, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Talking of our sponsors...

To learn more about SheepSki Designs, this month's guest sponsor, be sure to check out the START post; and of course, also pay this generous company a visit.

Please be sure to pop over and check out the amazing images offered up by Sandy Sommerfeld, the designer behind Scribbles Designs.

Thanks again to my fabulous design team! As always, each of them have their own exceptional approaches and concepts which impress me to no end. Each of these creations has demonstrated the theme of LOOKING FOR THE POSITIVE admirably and I hope we have encouraged you throughout this challenge to come up with your own piece of handiwork. Be sure to go and visit these talented ladies so you can see just how their projects tie in to the twist.

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. What are some of the ways that you LOOK FOR THE POSITIVE? Do you create goals and objectives and work towards them? Do you surround yourself with people, images, etc. that are positive? Do you provide a source of positivity to help those around you? If you'd like to tell us how you incorporate LOOKING FOR THE POSITIVE into your life, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! You can find our list of participants and enter our latest challenge yourself by clicking HERE and scrolling down to the bottom of the post.

GENEROUSLY SPONSORED BY…

Ch. #86 Top Picks: Voting Open Jan. 11 to Jan. 18/21

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #86 POP TOP!

Hello folks!  As we continue to endure challenges around the world, I hope that your Path this past week has included a number of positive moments along the route and that you and your families are all doing your best to stay healthy.

It is time to present the top picks from the last challenge. We don't have enough entries to have a Top Seven but we did have enough people participate that we can have a Top Three. We were close but we only had 13 entries in Challenge #86 (click HERE to see the original challenge with the theme of Rejoice). Just two more entries and we would have had a top seven but that isn't the way things played out this past challenge. As such, it is time to get on with showcasing the three projects and/or write-ups that touched the team the most.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #86

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick in this challenge,
you are entitled to a special Challenge #86 Top Pick Badge.
Please feel free to grab a copy for your blog...

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry. Which participant most inspires you? Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made. You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic. Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails. Then, let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Linky Tools feature. Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

 Good luck everyone!

Voting open January 11th
through January 18th

Challenge #87--Opt. Twist: LOOK FOR THE POSITIVE...Jan. 4─Jan. 31

Hello everyone and welcome to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is a brand new year and we hope that yours has had a positive start to it! Since it is the first Monday of the month, it is time for our first challenge of the year to begin!

Before I start I just wanted to let you all know that Pippa has decided to step down from the team permanently. While she wanted to remain, it just wasn't feasible for her to do so. Pippa has been an important part of this team for a very long time and it won't be the same without her! Please join me in wishing Pippa all the best as she navigates through the challenges that life presents!

Since we are not your typical challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab and you can find out all the details you need to know in order to participate, in the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can also be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Talking of our guest sponsor...

We are very pleased to have SheepSki Designs join us as this month's guest sponsor. It is time for us to refresh ourselves with the details of this wonderful company!

http://www.imaginethatdigistamp.com/index.html
Hi I'm Andrea Norris, creator and owner of SheepSki Designs - living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the UK, working full time as a Management Accountant, currently working on 4 design teams and an obsessive crafter and creator of cards. I love anything arty. I've always drawn stuff, for as long as I can remember. In my younger days I sold a few watercolour paintings. I love creating canvases mixed media canvasses with flowers.

I finally found software I could gel with in December 2015. January 2016 a challenge team I worked on was short of a designer's images to create with so I drew some. I opened my shop a month later so I could sponsor challenges and give something back to the crafting world, to the lovely ladies who have supported me on my journey.

I've a Facebook group and blog where I hold challenges and I'm now starting to look at inviting guest designers.

Welcome to my world!
Andrea xx

Now check out what my amazing design team came up with to inspire you. Clicking on each team member's name will take you to their blog where you can check out the details for their inspirational creations.

If you are interested in purchasing the image featured in a particular creation, you can click on the link indicated below the project to head to the page in the SheepSki Designs store where it can be found.…

My wonderful design team continues to outdo themselves time and time again! They each have their own style and clever interpretation of the twist. Even after all this time, I continue to be astounded by the scope of greatness in their work! Each of these artful conceptions has showcased the notion of LOOKING FOR THE POSITIVE exceptionally and I hope we have inspired you. Be sure to go and visit each team member so you can see how her project further connects to the twist.

So what are you waiting for? Finally, remember that we're trying to create a Path of Positivity so if you have some time, please visit other people participating throughout the month.

I hope to see you back next week when voting will [hopefully] begin on the Top Picks for Challenge #86. There will be a separate post detailing those picks where you will have the opportunity to vote on the creation or post that you have found to be the most positive, inspirational or encouraging of the chosen picks.

Then, be sure to join us again on January 18th when we'll be back with our midway featuring more great projects made with designs from SheepSki Designs along with projects made with images from Scribbles Designs, one of our on-going sponsors.

If you ever have any questions be sure to EMAIL ME or just leave me a comment.
