Challenge #66--Opt. Twist: LOVE...Midway

It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #66.

As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work in order to be sure you are eligible to win any of the prizes offered. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate in the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Don't forget, we've made some changes to our rules for 2019, including the fact that ALL entries now qualify for the Most Inspirational prize and that the optional twist is simply a way for you to stretch yourself as a designer if you'd like. You can read about all these changes at the top of the START post for JANUARY.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #66

Optional Twist: LOVE

This challenge, our optional twist is a focus on LOVE. If you would like to challenge yourself, create a project to show someone special in your life just how much you love them. However, remember that the optional twist is just for fun.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes, remember that regular types of projects such as birthday cards, or other general type projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Prizes this month include:
  • A $10.00 AU gift voucher that can be redeemed for digital stamps from Beccy's Place, our guest sponsor for this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • ONE image (value of $5 or less) from Scribbles Designs, for the post or project that the team deems most inspiring of the bunch based on all qualifying entrants.
  • One digital image from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for each person chosen as a DT Delight.

Talking of our sponsors...

To learn more about Beccy's Place, this month's guest sponsor, be sure to check out the START post; and of course, also pay this generous company a visit.

Do you have a story to share on the concept of LOVE? If you'd like to share how you have personally been affected by love, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! Challenge #65 Top Picks: Voting Open February 11 to February 18, 2019

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #65 POP TOP!

Hello folks! It is time to present the top picks from the last challenge. Since we had 15 entries in Challenge #65 it is time to get on with showcasing the seven projects and/or write-ups that touched the team the most. In case you are new and wondering why seven and not the typical three, four or even five? Any time that we have more than 14 entries, we have a top seven. We always strive to be a bit different over here on the Path of Positivity and this is just another way to do so. Additionally, seven is a spiritual number and thus right in the wheelhouse of the vibe we are looking to project; so, seven it is when enough people join in.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #65

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick in this challenge,
you are entitled to a special Challenge #65 Top Pick Badge.
Please feel free to grab a copy for your blog...

SPECIAL MENTION!

Before we get to the voting. I did want to comment on an additional entry from last month that just missed being part of the top picks. Now while I normally wouldn't mention those projects that didn't make the cut, there was something special about this entry: The fact that she was so close to being chosen as a top pick AND the fact that the card was created by an 11 year old, deserves some sort of special mention, don't you think?!

So, congrats Kaylynn and keep up the good work!!!
Please feel free to grab a copy of this special badge for your blog...

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry. Which participant most inspires you? Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made. You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic. Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails. Then, let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Linky Tools feature. Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let them know how they inspired you.

 Good luck everyone!

Voting open for 7 days:
February 11
through February 18
