Ch. #105 Top Picks: Voting Open Nov. 24 to Nov. 29/22

WELCOME TO THE CHALLENGE #105 POP TOP!

Hello folks! I hope that your Path this past week has included a number of positive moments along the route and that you and your families are all doing your best to stay healthy and happy.

I'm finally able to present the top picks from the last challenge. Since we had 42 incredible entries in Challenge #105 (click HERE to see the original challenge with the theme of Celebrate Something Special about YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON), it is time to get on with showcasing the seven projects and/or write-ups that touched the team the most. In case you are new and wondering why seven and not the typical three, four or even five? Any time that we have more than 14 entries, we have a top seven (with 14 entries or under we just have a top three). We always strive to be a bit different over here on the Path of Positivity and this is just another way to do so. Additionally, seven is a spiritual number and thus right in the wheelhouse of the vibe we are looking to project; so, seven it is when enough people join in.

Thus, without further ado, please let me introduce you to the Top Picks for Challenge #105

Congrats Ladies...

As a participant who has been chosen as a Top Pick in this challenge,
you are entitled to a special Challenge #105 Top Pick Badge.
Please feel free to grab a copy for your blog...

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Now the really hard work starts. It is time for you, our readers, to vote for your favourite entry. Which participant most inspires you? Remember, you are not necessarily voting on a creation that was made. You might simply find what the person had to say in their post to be inspiring and optimistic. Please be sure to go and check out the entries first and not just make your choices off of the thumbnails. Then, let us know who your favourite choice is by placing your vote below using the Linky Tools feature. Once you have made your decision, why not go back and let that person know how she inspired you.

 Good luck everyone!

Voting open November 24th
through
November 29th

Challenge #106--Anything Goes POSITIVE with the Opt. Twist of Celebrate The Simple Things in Life...Midway

Hey folks! Welcome back to the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog! It is the third Monday of the month and that means that it is time to present the midway for Challenge #106. It is my fond hope that each of you and your own families continue to stay safe and well wherever it is you live in this big wide world of ours.

Some of you may have noticed that I don't have the Top Picks for Challenge #105 posted yet. When we got back from a week of visiting my parents on Tuesday, I found out that my 2 backup drives had been corrupted which means that I only had one copy of everything. So for the last several days I've been needed to re-backup my info which is taking FOREVER! As a result of it slowing my computer down, I haven't been able to get much else done at a time when I desperately need to catch up. I hope to have the Top Picks post ready later this week. Your patience is appreciated.

As we are a unique kind of challenge blog, it is important for you to understand how things work. Please be sure to check out the START POST FOUND HERE for the specific details related to this month's challenge, and you can find out all the general details you need to know in order to participate, by clicking on the 'Challenge Details' tab (located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can now be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'General Rules'.

Right now, it is time to continue with our midway. Here is a refresher of the details for our current twist:

Challenge #106

Anything Goes POSITIVE with the Opt. Twist of

Celebrate The Simple Things in Life

This year's goal is to celebrate the positive around us. As such, if you would like to participate in the optional twist this month, we want you to design a creation that focuses on Celebrating The Simple Things in Life.

Often, we get so caught up in our daily lives and all the things that we have to accomplish that we forget to stop and be thankful for, and celebrate, the simple things in our life that often get neglected. When was the last time you sat and watched the sun rise or set and just marvelled at the beautiful sky? Did you take some time this fall to go for a walk or a drive and witness the changing of the season in the foliage around you (that is of course if you live in an area where the leaves change colours)? When was the last time you went for a quiet walk with someone you love just to experience the pleasure of being with that person and breathing in some fresh air? Don't forget to also celebrate the things that others around you may not be so lucky to still have--the ability to walk, see, hear or breath without aid. It is important to take the time to reflect on and enjoy the simple things you may take for granted because you never know when they might be gone.

If you want to follow the optional twist this month, take some to to Celebrate The Simple Things in Life and then share with us what you did, in your effort to celebrate the Positivity that already exists in your life.

Remember, the twist is completely optional and you don't need to follow it in order to win. However, in order to be considered eligible for this month's goodies, remember that general types of projects/posts will not qualify for the honours and prize UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Additionally, even if a project may qualify as positive, if your post promotes negativity, hatred or anything of an abhorrent nature, your project will be disqualified. Honours and Prize include:

  • $6 worth of images from Scribbles Designs, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • A badge for the following honours: Top Pick, Voter's Choice, Most Inspirational, Random Winner, DT Delight.
To help inspire you further down the path of Celebrating The Simple Things in Life, check out the wonderful projects my Design Team had the opportunity to create. Clicking on each team member's name will take you to their blog where you can check out the details for their inspirational creations.

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! What are the simple things in your own life that you need to stop and celebrate? You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! Top Picks Delay Reminder

Hello there! As I mentioned in the start post, I will be unable to post the Top Picks for Challenge #105 tonight as it would normally be scheduled. My parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on November 10th and we drove seven and a half hours to see and spend a whole week with them.

I will get the post published as soon as I am able to when we arrive back home!

Until then,
Lisa

My wonderful design team continues to outdo themselves time and time again! They each have their own style and clever interpretation of the twist. Even after all this time, I continue to be astounded by the scope of greatness in their work! Each of these artful conceptions has showcased the notion of Celebrating The Simple Things in Life exceptionally and I hope we have inspired you. Be sure to go and visit each team member so you can see how her project further connects to the twist.

So what are you waiting for? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like. Finally, remember that we're trying to create a Path of Positivity so if you have some time, please visit other people participating throughout the month.

I hope to see you back next week when voting will [hopefully] begin on the Top Picks for Challenge #105. There will be a separate post detailing those picks where you will have the opportunity to vote on the creation or post that you have found to be the most positive, inspirational or encouraging of the chosen picks. While I typically publish the Top Picks Post on Monday, it is doubtful that will happen next week due to events going on in my personal life. I will do my best to get it posted sometime that week though.

Then, be sure to join us again on November 21st when we'll be back with our midway featuring more great projects.
