Challenge #98

Anything Goes POSITIVE with the Opt. Twist of

Celebrate Something Special about YOUR FAMILY

This year's goal is to celebrate the positive around us. As such, this month we want you to design a creation that focuses on Celebrating Something Special about YOUR FAMILY. February is generally a month when we think about and reach out to the people who mean the most to us: our various family members. So, it is the perfect month to choose one or more family members that you love (or even someone that you love that is no longer with you) and then find something special about them that you want to celebrate. Think about your family member(s) and the many attributes that are part of their personality. What unique attributes draw you to each individual? For example, you could focus on how big someone's heart is, or how kind a relative is to others. You might look to celebrate a loved one's sense of humour and just how much you rely on them making you laugh. Maybe, one or more people in your family are an incredible support system for you in times of need. There are so many attributes that you can choose from. This month, it is time to reflect on a unique characteristic of one or more family members and share it with others. Show the world Something Special about YOUR FAMILY in your effort to celebrate the Positivity that already exists in your life.

In order to be considered eligible for this month's honours and prize, remember that general types of projects/posts will not qualify for the prizes UNLESS they are also positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature. Additionally, even if a project may qualify as positive, if your post promotes negativity, hatred or anything of an abhorrent nature, your project will be disqualified. Honours and Prizes include:

  • $6 worth of images from Scribbles Designs, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all qualifying entrants.
  • A badge for the following honours: Top Pick, Voter's Choice, Most Inspirational, Random Winner, DT Delight.
To help inspire you further down the path of being Celebrating Something Special about YOUR FAMILY, check out the wonderful projects my Design Team had the opportunity to create. Thanks again to my fabulous design team! As always, each of them have their own exceptional approaches and concepts which impress me to no end. Each of these creations has demonstrated the theme of being Celebrating Something Special about YOUR FAMILY admirably, and I hope we have encouraged you throughout this challenge to come up with your own piece of handiwork. Be sure to go and visit these talented ladies so you can see just how their projects tie in to the twist.

Why not join us, if you haven't entered already? Create a project and/or post that is positive, inspirational, motivational or encouraging in some nature and join our link up. How about stretching yourself by also opting to follow the twist?! While it isn't mandatory, we'd also love to find out how this month's twist affects your own life. Who are the important FAMILY members in your own life that you can celebrate something special about? This is the perfect month to share just what is so special about your own FAMILY. If you'd like to tell us something special about your FAMILY, we'd love to hear it. You can write a sentence or two in the body of your post, write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, or simply leave a comment on this post if you'd like.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit. Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post! You can find our list of participants and enter our latest challenge yourself by clicking HERE and scrolling down to the bottom of the post.
